- Watch as I finish my five integrals. Come along as I sand the handles and blades and watch the Damascus pattern come to life as I etch and coffee darken them. Then I’ll embed the handles permanently in epoxy, sharpen the blades, and then they are done! This build took about 200 hours of hard work, about 5 weeks.

The blue one really reminded me of Van Gogh's The Starry Night. Amazing work, as usual!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I just deleted my comment saying the same thing.
My first thought exactly.
Blue handle is my favourite, reminds me of the starry night by Van Gogh. Inspiring and flawless results again by the best bladesmith on youtube and probably the world.
Feeling the love my friend
Dad
I love the etch, sand, etching, repeat, neutralizing, coffee darkening, polishing, coffee break section! Amazing work as always!
One of the best montages I've seen.
Have to say the one that has the blueish handle reminds me of the night sky in a Van Gogh painting 💯👌 wonderful blades. You never disappoint 👍
Exactly my thought!
Agreed, I saw it and thought of Starry Night also.
@@shotout74 that's the one I was thinking of 👌had a brain fart lol
Copy copy my friend
I was thinking the same thing haha. Definitely my favorite handle out of the bunch, all of them look amazing though.
The black one with fine grain...really accentuates the beautiful shaping you did.
Beautiful work. The carbon fiber is my favorite. It has this stealthy, dark, electric, feel, when the light hits a fiber facet. Like rain glinting at night.
That Windex tip for sanding is the best advice I've gleaned from your videos. You've saved me hours of time making sanding more efficient. Less clogging of the sandpaper, easier sanding, and much cleaner. The final finish is also more uniform.
Good to hear my friend
Keep Forging On
Dad
You sir have a gift thank you for going to all the trouble making these videos thank you from the bottom of my heart
Hey thanks Billy we appreciate that. Glad you’re here. Like and share we appreciate it my friend
Dad
It’s a toss up between the blue and the ivory. Great work, as always! 👍
The blue burl is stunning, far and away my favourite. Never been a fan of carbon fibre for knife handles but you managed to make even those look sweet :)
I am always blown away by the level of craftsmanship and creative taste you put into all of your blades. I can't describe your work without using near religious language. Thank you so much for inspiring and teaching all of us newer makers to kick our work up to the next level.
Hey thanks Bear. It’s a privilege to be here sharing our lives with you all. Go do the same my friend. It’s more fun when we go on a journey with others 👍🏻☕️🔥⚔️
Dad
Blue Burl is my favorite! Beautiful Kyle, all of them!
I like the contrast of the ebony blade and ivory handle. All are beautiful though as always with you thoughtful and meticulous work process.
I love the one with the white handel. It looks realy well combined with the blade.
The dark purple is my favorite!
Every time I watch your videos I look for a step in the process to say ‘ I can do THAT part at least ‘ but that part never comes… that’s why you’re the mastersmith. Really beautiful knives.as always
Find one thing that you can try and feel free to do it poorly. Then try again til you start getting it to go the way it should. Practice practice practice. You can do it. Keep Forging On my friend
Dad
Your art is next level, in a league all by itself. Respect.
Hey thanks Kevin
Kyle
@@KyleRoyerKnives AND you reply to plebs like me?? Man, you're awesome.
The blue one is my favourite!all of them are awesome!
I do love the way you shape your knife handles. Looks amazing when you've finished sanding and buffed the surfaces
Coffee break here too. Watching you hard at work. Just beautiful!
I appreciate everything you do for the bladesmith community. I have learned so much from watching you.
I'm fairly new to your channel Kyle, but by far you are the most inspirational I've found. Thank you for sharing your stories and journey's.
I love that blue handle. I was absolutely enchanted by it at the end.
They are absolutely beautiful. The Carbon fibre goes really well with the patterned steel. Just stunning.
Hey thanks Brad
Kyle
I’m kinda feeling the blue handle. With the flecks of yellow it reminds of “Starry, Starry Night”!
Ok, so nobody is going to talk about the "ferret" chloride?
I‘m just watching it and came down to the comment section for the same pun 😅
I thought it was a lizard at first so confused 😂
The blue looks like Van Gogh's Starry Night! Gorgeous!
Starry Night. Beautiful work Kyle. ✌
I've seen many of your videos and never stop admire the 1st class blades you've made.👍
Glad you’re here HaSaan
Dad
That white has to be my favorite. But that blue is so intense looking. Reminds me of a Van Goghs starry nights.
As always, the content is da bomb ! And the camera work is movie-like !

Merry Christmas
the ivory one is fantastic!!!
The purple one is my favorite as well
They all look great I love the blue handled knife
So I recently got into making my own knives but am a beginner. I've made two so far. Gives me a serious amount of respect for guys like you that build such amazing knives. Your damascus is insane! I love it. Do you ever sell just the damascus blanks so someone could use your patterns for their own projects? Also on the website every knife is sold so how does one know what they sell for or how do they have a chance to buy one?
Wowee wow man... I have personally never seen your Equal. I am stunned at these Knives...
Hey thanks Clint
Cheers from the Ozarks my friend
Dad
@@KyleRoyerKnives Cheers right back at you Friend! from another Wild beautiful place... Nevada.
U r a master! Love the bone ivory. And the blue! Carbon is so cool.
The purple one reminds me of Van Gogh’s “Starry Night”. Beautiful!

I love the blue and the purple and the carbon fiber and the white one. These little siblings should NEVER be separated. DO NOT sell individually
Etching, sanding, neutralizing, coffee ☕ break omg i couldn't stop laughing 😆 🤣 beutiful knives! Great attitude as always lol
Hey thanks Duck
Kyle
Beautiful work!!! I especially like that turquoise handle.
The blue handle of the knife reminds me of the painter vincent vangeo and the swirling painting he made
Amazing quality work! You are extremely good forging and making knife! Best regards from Argentina
Beautiful knives, i love the purple and the blue one most, one van Gogh and one purple tiger and they look very nice, very nice indeed!
And that white handle, dang that just works so well, simple but elegant and beautiful as well.
Even the carbon ones look ace and i usually am not much of a fan of the carbon look, but these seem to flow and look quite different, very nice!
Amazing work as always its really inspiring!
Love that music right there at the beginning. That blue one - I call it the Starry Night.
They’re all AWESOME! I like the Blue one best!💎
I'd have to say the blue handle Starry Night blade is spectacular but as a second the carbon fiber since it looks so clean and paired well with the steel. All are fabulous but if I had to rate them those would be the best two pieces. Beautiful work.
Copy copy my friend
Nice video as always and the knifes turned out superb. I think the purple handle is my favorite or the 2 with carbon fiber handles.
I know your a mastersmith but you do beautiful work and they attention to detail is second to none. I love the blue Handel one

The blue and the wine look amazing. Would be cool to see you try different carbon weaves and maybe forged carbon fiber.
They are beautiful knives 😎😍
Yep. They sold out before I even watched the video haha. Loved the series. Great set of videos. Btw Ferret chloride is gonna be the way I say it henceforth, haha.
I love the blue 😍
Beautiful work as usual kyle and Hi from Australia 🇦🇺
are you going to make another multi video construction like excelsior any time in the future, knifes are cool but those swords truly make me feel like a kid again! Keep up the good work and may the forge be with you :)
Whenever some one orders one we will make one. We would like to do a sword a year. -Josh
I like the blue handle because it looks like the van gogh painting starry starry night.
I love the carbon fiber handled ones, they feel like new age meets old fashioned.
All came out great, Blue is also very cool!!!!
Absolutely stunning pieces of art yet again! Always incredibly impressed with the masterpieces you create. I hope you forge a rapier one day, one of my personal favorite swords. Have a great week!
Hey thanks Christian
Kyle
Beautiful knives
your brother knives are the works of a brilliant gunsmith. art as it is👏👏👏🇬🇪🤝🇦🇺👍👍👍
Beautiful work, the blue ash burl is my favorite.
Stunning work! ❤️

Hey Kyle. This is my favorite ( sanding), thing to do of my projects. It’s cathartic…that blue is beautiful. Is this wood injected? I use a lot of Ebony, African black wood, etc. the oils are unbelievable! I wish I had ur talent in the forging department. I could carve a handle but forging? No way…but I love the varying Damascus style and designs. U are the true master. My other favorite projects are bespoke shoe making! I remember buying my first Allen Edmonds and Parker/ Parker man. …love my shoes.can a person buy a blade such as this and place there own handle on? Beautiful work sir….beautiful! I love watching u. Say hey to ur mom and dad. U look like u live where I use to live in Jacksonville Illinois. Or Springfield Ohio, or terra haute Indiana, or Kansas, or Oklahoma…I know this isn’t my home town of Raton New Mexico…but it looks like middle America 🇺🇸
Hey Mike the dye is vacuum impregnated as well as the stabilizer. Cheers from the Ozarks my friend

The White handle knife I really like it
My favorite it the blue because I have blue maple burl grips I had someone make for my 1911. So they will match. Very similar
Very nice
Dad
At 2:58 a weasel fell in your acid. Does that help with the etching?
The blue and carbon fibre for edc for me!
Even if they are all sold out I'd like to know the price of this kind of master knife please :)
Me too
$2500 each
Be safe and be careful my friend
Dad
@@KyleRoyerKnives da dang that's a lot! (Not that it's not accurately priced)
Words can not describe how amazing you are ......
One thing I'm wondering how do you clean the vaseline out of the Handle after you embeded the tang? because in the final glue up you want to have the glue stick to both teh handle and the tang.
We love your videos! Thank you
Well done!
You can buy one of those static wrist straps they use for working on circuit boards and affix an alligator clip large enough to clamp onto the vise stand (maybe even mount the appropriate sized snap on it) and then you could just throw the wrist piece around your upper arm, or maybe better around your ankle or calf to keep it away from the grabby turny parts and it will bleed off static charge and prevent that shocking discharge from happening.
There is a snap at the 'wrist' side too, so that you can just unsnap the wire to walk away and resnap it when you return. They are also designed with a megohm or so resistance so that if you somehow get across mains voltage it at least won't add to the current flowing through you, it would be pretty much just like getting shocked without the strap on.
Little bit it of a pain, granted, just matters how much you are willing to put up with not to be shocked.
Handles look spectacular. I just tried buffing wood on a whim once, and I was amazed how well it worked. LONG before the internet.
Very pretty work as always! Someday when I get some shop space, Id love to take your mosaic / knife classes
They all look great, I wouldn't be able to choose between them.

White is my favorite!
Where'd you get that material?
Great knives, great video and great music selection. I always look forward to watching a new video from you when I get the notification. Would you mind posting the song titles in the video description in the future so I don't have to shazam all the time. I've been really liking the music in your edits lately. Cheers
I’m a sucker for carbon fiber, but the blue maple burl is amazing.
Absolutely gorgeous knives. I would love to get myself one if I could. I bet these will sell out in a minute
Copy that my friend
