T -Bone To be honest, I love this feud more than nearly anything else as of late. But can't always keep something this awesome going
When OVE arrived on the scene, they were just two chumps. The moment Sami Callihan joined the group it has really grown on me. He brings in the intensity that was missing and OVE is no longer the cooky cutter good guys.
LAX proved once again that they are the ambassadors of violence. Very good match, but if there was one thing totally missing from it. It was missing some color. Just the sight of someone gushing out blood from their head can switch a match from being good to great.
Props to TNA/iMPACT, LAX and OVE. Tag team wrestling is still alive.

The Skewer bit is new, I haven't seen that before. Dave and Jake had the best bumps of the match. I expect nothing less. Good job.
Gotta give it props, this takes some guts and it kept me at the edge of my seat. Some of those barbed wire spots were insane. I didn't see the first 2 barbed wire matches so I don't know how it compares but I did enjoy this one.

To be honest, I was kind of pissed that they didn't show the match on TV. I know this match is violent, but if they actually showed the match on television, they might have had better ratings.
I think we all could agree to that. It seemed they were playing it safe to a t that the too violent for tv thing ended up being nothing more than false panic.
Better ratings doesn't mean anything if u loose sponsors hence why no promotion does this type of match on tv

Derek Young it's 100% real. They're wooden barbecue skewers. As I said, Masada uses them regularly. If this match interested you, I strongly suggest checking out CZW, IWA-MS and BJW. Waaaaaaay more hardcore than this match. This would be tame compared to some of the matches you'd see there.

Saw this on Twitch myself. Been getting back into Impact as of late, after before out of the loop for about two years. The new LAX and OVE are pretty cool. They could use more tag teams, but I love that there's still room for major tag team feuds and hardcore matches within the company.

tyty274 Disagree. There wasn't even blood lol Abby and shiek would've at least bladed. Sabu and Terry funk wrestled this style match and Sabu nearly ripped his bicep off but he just taped it up and finished the match like a Savage. Mick Foley vs Terry funk had a bloodbath of a bar barbed wire match as well. Other than the skewer spot I don't even get why this wasn't cleared for TV. Still a really good match but let's not exaggerate here and disrespect the guys that have sacrificed more of themselves in this type of match for the fans
Point received, sir! Furthermore, I meant no disrepect to the true legends of hardcore. Trust and believe, majority of these "so called" hardcore wrestlers today could not tie Abby, the Original Sheik, Tora Kamata, Freddie Blassies' boot laces; however, I am highly impressed with LAX and OVE!

Wouldn't go that far as comparisons go but I will give both teams their due .Plus I know that Homicide and all members of oVe do have experience in Barbed Wire Matches .This was a toned down match to a degree .If this held in Japan or a company like CZW garaunteed it would have been a bloodbath on a level of Cactus Jack Vs Terry Funk or Funk Vs Sabu or Atsushi Onita Vs Funk . Just find it amusing they went through all that nonsense to hype it on tv only to turn around and say go to their Twitch Channel to watch . Either have the cojones to show it or just say in general it's too violent to show on tv but check out our internet channel to watch there . Think they dropped the ball on that 1 but kudos to both teams for a memorable match .

Ya know, for essentially a barbwire deathmatch with some pretty damn gruesome spots (never thought I'd see skewers outside of the indies) this was pretty shockingly light on blood

I have seen the 1st 2 Barbed Wire Massacre Matches and have them on dvd with Abyss VS Sabu and Judas Mesias and those 2 matches were pretty sick matches but this 1 where you got 2 teams that just flat out hate eachothers guts and are willing to whatever to win this was off the charts . Knew that Homicide and all the members of oVe have had experience in Barbed Wire Matches but I give credit to Santana and Ortiz of LAX for holding their own in this match .The Suplex off the ladder and into the tables by Santa on Jake Crist after sticking skewers into his head was nuts . Long time since I've seen Impact do anything resembling a match like this and they did not disappoint . Kinda sucked that Impact hyped this match the whole show only to show the entrances then tell people to go to the Twitch Channel to watch it .Why bother hyping it just to show nothing .Then again a No Ropes Barbed Wire Match is a garaunteed bloodbath and the censors would be on this for sure . Either way awesome match .

Not as hardcore and violent as I had expected, but still enjoyable to watch for a street fight. You very rarely see these types of matches these days, WWE and Vince has become too family-friendly. Thanks Impact.

Hard to watch but impossible to look away. Brutality done right. This calls back to old TNA and original ECW. Not quite as brutal as Terry Funk vs Sabu but still an amazing match, mad respect for everyone of these guys

The guy in white legitimately landed on his head, and neck when he speared that LAX member into the table. Just looking at him lay on his upper body like that makes my already screwed up neck, and back hurt. Wow.
Great finish to their feud - but not as violent or bloody as I was expecting. Jake Cris was wrapped in barbed wire wearing a white outfit - yet I saw no blood? I was actually disappointed!

Great match hats of to all 6 men for going through that match it was a good way to close out the rivalry my only complaint was with the lack of blood compare to the previous 2 this one really sticks out as being a bit to clean but i get it this was meant to air on tv and the other 2 brabwire matches were PPV so thats why they couldn't go as far as they wanted but for the most part i enjoyed it there were some good brutal spots in the match
