I've got a 120lb male and he has several distinctive barks, each increasing in volume and deepness. A playful bark, an irritated bark, a warning bark, and a 'let me at you' bark. This is closer to his irritated bark.

Seems like she's spooked by the lights outside the window

I think schnauzers have a unique bark, that is a very effective warning to strangers. (I have a standard). When my dog gives a warning bark, it is heart-stopping to everyone in the vicinity. When they go into a continuous bark and bounce, I can't imagine anyone thinking they should approach, which makes them an excellent protection dog. Once trained by command to allow strangers to approach, everyone finds them very friendly and playful. My dog does not always stop protecting though -- some people are just not to be allowed close for some reason, and then I have to take a very firm hand, because of the breeds very strong will and stubbornness. Thanks for posting the clip.

lol. Where's the other one? I'm in the process of getting my second GS. I'm going to start breeding. I have a 8 month old male atm. And my female I'm getting is 4weeks, so il have her in a few weeks.

Woah!!! That’s exciting, I’ll make a video of my little guy too. I’m not going to breed Arlo, I wouldn’t trust any random person with a dog like her. Our male giant is amazing! He’s tough and strong but he’s got a cap on his attitude. Arlo is becoming rather protective. She’s for someone who knows how to handle a strong willed dog! Nothing is wrong with positive only but she only listens to me even if you put steak in her face. I can’t leave her with anyone who isn’t willing to be firm with her.
      Make videos of your pups!

@@fordewoodson2697 lol omg! This sounds like me and my family! My boy is out of control when I'm not around, won't listen to anyone! He is still young and hasn't shown a overly protective or aggressive attitude YET. I keep him well socialized and been doing some light protection training, so I know he will be a protector when he has to be. And I will be making some videos in the near future! I just started a ig @uncutblackdiamondkennel I only have like 1 pic up but it's a work in progress lol.

@@NoWordsNeeded1000 sounds great I’ll follow you! Btw, Arlo was the friendliest dog. But between 15-18months genetics kick in and you’ll see another side to them. Very loyal dogs of course but they must be kept in line especially when doing protection work. Are you doing PSA, IGP or a ring sport for protection?

@@fordewoodson2697 lol my Chief is too! That's why I think he will be a great dog for protection work. Not showing fear when around people. And as of now I don't really want to get into the "game training" is what I call it lol. It's more for my personal training for myself, so I can personally train pups I have to sell as personal protection dogs. But at some point I will get into it just for the "championship" paperwork for my bloodlines. So one day in the next 5-10 years I can sell my pups for like 20-50k as personal protection dogs. Or should I say sell the most beautiful protection dogs lol. I love GS lol. And one day I'll be breeding Dogo Argentinos aswell 😍 them are sexy dogs too!
