“Alice laughed. 'There's no use trying,' she said. 'One can't believe impossible things.'
I daresay you haven't had much practice,' said the Queen. 'When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast. There goes the shawl again!”
    ― Lewis Carroll
How would you analyze this quotation, Isabella?
It seems to me that if one wants to believe impossible things, it is the LACK of practice that is most beneficial. Indeed, isn't it easier to believe something impossible if one does not realize it is impossible?

Ngl, I would've appreciated a philosophy degree over the Lab Medicine degree which I never ended up using btw T_T Know that I never did know exactly where I wanted to go from highschool though and just took a shot at whatever. But at the end of the day it all comes down to this: "The quickest thief of joy is comparison."

This is such a nice comment and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that you'll end up being happy with the degree you choose! Thank you for your other comment by the way - ended up having to reupload the other video so the ending wasn't cut off!

@@IsabellaBoyne Thanks for the good vibes Isa! Just know that degrees are but a portion of life. As humans we have the ability to accumulate and grow on top of past experiences which render those comments mute anyway.
Awesome to hear of the reupload- I look forward to watching~

Business management (or rather business law) subsumes employment, whereas philosophy subsumes everything (not everything else). Philosophy learns, as it apprehends and applies, logic, ethics, aesthetics, metaphysics, and so on. So, philosophy has vast professional application. US Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that philosophy majors tend to lead very satisfying lives. Their coffee is better. Their cloths are warmer. And their time is longer.
