My 100th segmented vase is done! I started this series of 100 vases and bowls back in 2007. My neighbor let me borrow his mini lathe and said have fun, thats where it stared for me. This vase is called The Calm Before The Storm, it represents where I came from knowing nothing as a woodturner to me now as a woodturner and artist and to what I'll be up too in the future. The vase is made in Zirocote and Maple. Huge thanks to Grizzly Tools for giving me this awesome lathe. Thanks for watching!

A fine example of finesse and grace. Great job, I'm jealous.
The mother of all segmented bowls. Good work
Magnificent vase! Only woodturners who have made segmented vases know how much work and patience goes into making these. Congratulations on vase 100!! Best regards, Richard

That smile on your face when you part it off the lathe. Love it man! Amazing work. Absolutely stunning.
Ha, came here to say this. That smile says it all.
Groovy vase. Congrats on number 100. You're making me wish I had a lathe.
awsome! as a woodworker i see the love in your eyes for the product it self, made by own hands is a Joy for life :)
Definitely worth the effort you put into it, the end result is totally AWESOME Brother.
I've never looked at woodwork as something I would enjoy until I watched your videos. Love your art.
Simply speechless! Beautiful
Not much to say. Just know I watched this and smiled. Seriously Stunning Work.

Kyle you Beast, well worth the wait for number 100
Only thing I could complain about is I wish you did more videos. They always kick ass
I like how, just after you parted it off and you're standing it on the blanket to look at, you have a smile on your face. It almost says, "yeah. I did that." Gorgeous.
I've been watching these wood turning videos on RUclips for 2 wks now. At least 2 hrs a day. Best bowl yet. And I love the bloopers at the end. Good moves 😂👍🏽
Very well done, Kyle. Congratulations on the milestone.
Scott Hutson Thanks Scott

Congrats on the beautiful 100th, Kyle!
Your work is what has inspired me to give wood turning a go. Booked a beginners course and I'm looking forward to making my first tiny bowl! One day I'll have a go at segmented pieces, but need a few more pieces of equipment first!
at about 5 and a half minutes in it looks like the vase is throwing a party for its own creation. Great job Kyle and congratulations, from me and your vase.
I don't think I have ever watched a Toth video and not learned something. Amazing work as always, thanks for sharing.
I watched this video 3 times just to listen to the music. Great choices. This piece is amazing.
Melhor trabalho que já vi feito num torno de madeira. Parabéns.
Wonderful! Great job as always Kyle.
WOW the amount of different angles for each ring amazes me. Great Artistic work . Thanks for sharing.
I've got dibs on #200! Great work, You are a master of your craft. Can't wait to see the 2018 calendar,
It's perfect! Beautiful! You're a genius!!! I admire your work! *thumbs up*
Thanks Sergio
It is crazy how stable that vase is all the way out to the end on that lathe. When turning and sanding, you don't see it wobble at all. Great job Kyle.
Adam Comfort I know right. I kept on seeing how far I could take it. It was stable without a steady rest the whole time
Musta been using the force as the steady rest!
I was sure it was going to blow up, you're a courageous man and an artist.
haha That would have been awesome
It made my butt clench just watching it
Great video and vase. Thats the first time I've seen someone use a router to clean up the bottom. Brilliant, thanks!!
David Clauson It works really well for large vases. The idea of reverse mounting this didnt sound like fun to me.
Beautiful creation!
That thing is sick dude!! Congrats!
Wow, just WOW!
thats one beautiful vase
Please tell me this is going into a museum honoring American craftsman through time... like this needs to be in someone’s super high end art collection because this is just incredible. And the fact that you aren’t an old dude (no offense to old turners... they’ve taught me everything I know!) making this and are from the younger generations just makes it all the more special. Keep up the great work and keep those bloopers rolling hahaha! I’ve said everything you’ve said in those bloopers while turning myself hahaha
Truly an artist
Really congratulations. Super work
Stunning ! WOW !
Absolutely amazing
Beautiful piece and amazing
Man these videos always glue me to the screen. Amazing work as always.
Your work leaves me amazed each and every time!
Thanks man! thats really nice of you
So freaking awesome Kyle
You never disappoint good sir.... well done, cheers....

From the thousands of vases I have seen this is one of the best ever. Great job KYLE!
Truly inspiring. Vance and I watched it together. He was very excited to have met the person who made that vase. He wanted to watch it again.
Ahh thats so cool! Hey Vannnnceee!
now that is a worthwhile project on a laith. Cool.
That is Awesome Kyle!
Great job man no steady rest or anything HolyCow
That smile as you turn it up right for the first time
This is awesome...congrats! Your videos got me into trying some segmented turning so it's awesome to see this come to fruition.
Nelsoncraft TX What thats so cool! Keep it up

That was mesmerizing. And now I need a lathe.
Its the best rabbit hole you can go down
Kyle Toth I’ve been told the most expensive rabbit hole I can go down... ha!
Just.......WOW!!!
Turned out beautiful kyle. Definitely one to send into fine woodworking!
I know I should, you always remind me
Kyle, I hope one day to be able to afford one of your pieces to grace my home. Beautiful job!
Gorgeous vase!
Wow. Amazing work. Love it. That is incredible to see that much mass hanging unsupported off the spindle while you glue up and rough the ID in. Must have felt pretty hairy the first few times! Nicely done.
Stunning simply stunning Kyle! Congrats on #100!!
Thanks Mark
Beautiful piece
Worth every moment you put into it, simply beautiful.
Ahhh yeaa. Great work
Unreal. The full length curly shavings at 5:45, total money shot. Then, the look on your face at 9:05 where you cut it away from the base for the first time, like a proud papa... hahahah. Congrats on an incredible run.
You do awesome work I wish I could do work like you I enjoyed watching your work
