Excellent video. I just took my spoiler off my 2015 Escape because it was loose and rattling up there. Mine was drilled into the car. Turns out, you have the exact same one as I do, with the screws to mount it. I did not put mine on the car. I bought the car used. The tape was not installed as nice as your tape either. There was nothing on the bottom of it. Just the top and down the center part of the spoiler. The screws were 'tight', but they were too long to tighten fully. Someone put some kind of sealant around the screws.. sort of. They didn't get any use from the sealant because it was not continuously formed around the screw. VERY sloppy job was done. Yours works great for me! I do have to use the screws however, but I put rubber grommets through the holes, and I will put slightly shorter screws in there. Thanks for sharing this video!!!
Thank you for the great video. Just a few comments which worked for and may help other. I used a Sharpie to mark the alignment. The other item and I guess it all depends where you purchased your unit. I started with the double-sided tape provided and felt it was inferior to 3m tape which I used. The original tape's backing would separate as I was putting down the tape. Again, thanks for the excelllent video
Great video! I Very cool technique with pulling the red tape protector strip, while the wing is mounted. Good information to know. Also, thanks for the link to one of my videos at the end, you are awesome!!

You welcome, I also noticed separation in some areas and had to remove the double side tape that came with the spoiler and use 3M double side tape...
Demonstration of Good installation practice........Nice Dear......every one should follow this step carefully.......Thanks
Thanks 🙏🏻

You welcome, yes it makes the job much easier
My question it since then did it still hold on?
What kind of silicon? Is that silicon sealant or silicon adhesive?
Great video! My spoiler keeps getting detached when i get into the highway. Any tips ? I was thinking about drilling the vehicle
Maybe it's not been clean when they installed it, use this method, its works very good, without drilling
What kind of silicone did you use?

Thinking about getting this spoiler and using your method, how is it holding up three years later?
It was my friends car, it held up pretty good, just remembered to use original 3m double sided tape
Sir what is work of spoiler is it used only for look or any other purpose plzzz reply
It's for look and providing down force for the vehicle and decreasing air distortion from the back
Thank you! What red stiker you user?

@@AliMECH thx. Found it but could u tell me one more thing? How wide is the tape?thx in advance
@@paw7ik 10mm
Is this removable? And if it is, how hard is it to remove the spoiler from 1 to 10? 1 being very easy and 10 is too difficult.
Yes, you will need wax wheel for removing silicone and double side tape residue...
@@AliMECH I added another question on how hard is it to remove
I would say 7, for cleaning and removing
@@AliMECH And would it damage the paint removing it?
U have to use wax wheel for Removing the residue, otherwise you will damage the paint

Spoiler price
What does the silicon do?
Works like spots of glue
I have a White Platinum Pearl 2017 escape that I will be doing the exact same application. THX
Awesome, you are welcome ✌
Orange peel looks terrible...I would have exchanged it for a new one. Great video though! Thanks...
For the price it's good and the orange Peel is an easy fix lol,and thanks
It's a $140 Ebay spoiler that comes pre-painted. For that price it is no big deal and would be more hassle to try to send back.
👍
So sad they sold out of these
I just can't wait for some mouth breather's errant spoiler to come flying at me while I'm going down the highway at 75mph....
Lol dont worry it wont, even most factory spoilers installed like this
SPOILER ALERT
Lol good one
