    I’ve never seen so many different petunias, I wish they would have that many where I live. So many colours so little space. I’m glad I have found your videos I have learned a lot from you, so thank you.

    Beautiful petunias. Wish we knew if they are supertunia, visa, wave or what. Prettiest petunias I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤

      Which ones did you specifically want to know about? They should all be labeled in the video.

    Your petunia videos are wonderful. I love petunias, and grow alot of them in my planters. Thanks for showing us the many varieties available. I hope to see alot more informative videos.

    Saw your thumbnail with the Cascadia Autumn Mystery muted tones and knew this is the type I would like to grow!
    I've never been into petunias but was intrigued with how fast/vigorous they grown for ground cover (which I'm needing some but I like soft hues and pastel shades vs bold flower/plant colors-- I'm trying to add more colors though lol) Thanks for showing all these color options!

    I love your videos that compare the different hybrid species (especially the petunias). I was only aware of Supertunias and The Wave. You just showed 21 of them. I will have to see which ones I can get as seed, since that is what I am learning to do. I love your channel, please keep them coming!

    • @UpNorthGardenMI
      @UpNorthGardenMI  10 месяцев назад

      No many of the hybrids are available from seed (they're bred to not go to seed or go to seed very late to promote more flowering, so they're propagated from cuttings). Wave is a good one from seed. The Caliburst Yellow Petchoa is a new variety that is available from seed. Flowers are smaller, but it makes up for in quantity and the color is stunning (like a petite version of the Bees Knees petunia.

    Wow Nate, I love your content and your greenhouse is amazing. I’ve learned so much from you! What’s really cool i’m just south of you (Saginaw Bay, Bay City) and I’m looking forward to visiting your nursery! How exciting for me because I know where to procure quality baskets! I’m so over the box stores and their lack of quality! And I love supporting local establishments! How cool I discovered you on RUclips

      Also, I hope you survived the cold last night! As you know, we had frost advisory’s in northern Michigan. However, the shoreline seemed to maintain warmer temperatures.

      We had a hard frost, but it looks like everything made it through. Looking forward to your road-trip Up North. Our selection of annuals is quickly dwindling, but we’ll be strong on perennials, trees and shrubs for the next few months.

    For $5 in the UK at Aldi a few years back, I got a mixed hanging basket, including a perennial fuschia, why don't you do mixed baskets as standard, especially for what the cost of one is?

    One of the reasons why i love Supertunias is that they don't need deadheading. Are there any other varieties like that?

    • @UpNorthGardenMI
      @UpNorthGardenMI  Год назад +1

      Pretty much all the varieties mentioned in this video don’t need deadheading. It’s usually the old- fashioned seed varieties that require more care.

      Our biggest pests are earwigs and snails/slugs which are easy to manage with a product like Sluggo. Ask at your local garden center how to fend off the most common petunia pests in your region.
