I caught myself when I was facing the same problem. Overly complicated systems, tables and other dependencies distance us from the most important thing: the adventure and fun. Simple d6 and imagination is the best guide in solo rpg.

And I hate too have to roll many time before actually play ( even if I stuck in what will happen). Once more rolling made me fill like how no I don’t like this one for any result). What system do you use?
Character creation is more related to the ruleset rather than the Solo procedure.
As I said in the video, keep it simple.
Think about what character (or characters) you want to play.
What are their motivations? What do they want to achieve?
You don't need to roll for that; you can just decide.

@@CavernadoLekkis too many. I’m tired to even try to learn new one. For supers I tried official marvel and dc books of every kind they did (except the new Batman one), for other system I red super, tiny super, truth and justice and so much more. I tried Star Trek, both iterations for dr who, two different system for Star Wars. In fantasy dND 3.5, warhamler quest (nit a rog but close). In pulp I tried many system too. And their was system I buy every books and didn’t play with like call of Cthulhu. I get ride of the books with times, still trying some in paper or digital. Give the paper one to when I was in my previous library too créât a shelf. And for the new one I just erase it of my system and move on to the next. Plus I tried so many time to create a system with various incarnation and thematic but failed and erased them each time.

If I can make a suggestion. Don't worry about picking a "system." What world do you want to play in or what genre are you in the mood for? To borrow from FKR, start with the World, Play the World not the rules. Another way to say it would be, let the rules flow from the world.
