I about got scammed out of one of my dolls! The buyer gave me a fake payment verification email. Then the fake payment company said I needed to pay money to “upgrade” my account. Thank goodness it was early enough in the shipping to pay to route the package back. If I didn’t catch on, I could have easily been out $1000. Easy. I’ll have to make a video about my situation too.

I am now an older woman who has a lot of reborn dolls that I still and always will seek comfort in and I could not care less what others think or say about it because my doll then and my dolls up to now have really made me so happy in my life! I am a new subscriber and you have touched base on a few things that I relate too!
The red flag should've went up when she asked for dolls for her sisters. You were already being very generous, but yeah, that alone was much. Sadly this is why collectors ignore requests for free dolls no matter what the person says. Also if dealing with a minor, I'd be suspicious if I didn't hear from a parent prior to the doll being sent. As a mother, I'd have blown a gasket if my kid (no matter how old) received something in the mail from a total stranger. So sorry this happened to you. That sux. ❤
Just love this! Can so relate to this. My mom was my best friend and passed in 2015. I so miss her. I am 55 and still love and collect dolls and God is my best friend. I live alone with my 3 cats, they are my kids.

Always a bit of a heartbreak, not so much for the $, but more all the effort and thought wasted on some heartless random. Anyway, I love your attitude! My second son was my heart. You couldn't love a child more than I loved that child. My other children named him the GOLDEN CHILD. My son is 38 now and married with a baby son. 5 years ago he cut me totally out of his life and texted me reasons that are untrue and unfair in which he told me to not contact him again that I was dead to him. I had horrible pain and depression and joined a support group online of parents going through this pain. I am fine now and understand that our children become PEOPLE with their own ways of being, living and thinking and as moms we have to let them go and if they come back to us wonderful if they don't than it's okay and we are fine.

Hi Ladies, I’m so very sorry that happened. People can be so rotten. There are good people like you guys left in the world, thank God, but man there sure seems to be a lot of people who want to scam kind people. It’s a shame. I saw this woman, sitting on the ground in the grocery store parking lot, holding a sign saying she was homeless and hungry. My family and I picked her out some groceries she could eat without needing to cook them. We thought we were helping someone who needed food, but when we took them to her, she got mad and refused the groceries and wanted money instead. She called us assholes and bitches in front out our 5 year ild autistic son. He was scared and so confused. That reaction from her really shocked us and I guess maybe we were naive. Now we just give warm winter stuff and food to the actual organization that provides meals and clothing to homeless or hungry people who come to their center asking for that. When the people beg downtown, we no longer hand them money like we used to because now they ask if they can come with us to the bank or the ATM machine to get more than the just the change we usually give them. I’ve seen on our local news where they’ve cracked people over the head or pulled out a knife and robbed them when they’ve gone with them to the ATM machine or bank. Nope! Not gonna let them happen to us. Now that Christmas is coming, it’s gonna be hard to even go downtown or ti the stores because they’ll be out there trying to scam people and we really do f people l guilty when it seems like someone is legit and really needs some help, but we can’t take the chance anymore. I never wanted to teach our son to be unkind or judgemental, but the world is so crazy today that we have to choose to protect him. It’s such a shame because he’s so sweet and would help anybody, but with his intellectual challenges, he could be so easily hurt or taken advantage of. You ladies are so awesome. I love your beautiful hearts and you guys crack me up all the time. Please know how much you are appreciated. You bring good things to the dolly community and I am grateful for you both. Take care.

Every time I sell a doll I've had them all, people pleading with me with all kinds of sad stories. Even trying to get me to change the place where they pay. Now I only sell on Facebook and take payment there only. That stopped that. It is sad, I'm like you I'd rather give it away.

Ok you've learnt your lessons and won't let those scamming bad Pete hurt you again, You and you beautiful mum are a good team girl, I know what your going through when you said about your son not loving you, I have 3 grown up girls and 9 grandchildren I don't see any grandchildren that's not my fault it all boils down to my 1st daughter who is satan who has 4 children but 1st child by courts live with her dad since she was 2yrs old and we haven't seen her since she was 4yrs and now she is 16 this year and the other 3 she uses them against me by if i say something wrong im banned from seeing the children and she does this a lot and i havent seen the chikdren for 5 months , my 2nd who is controlled by her husband who has one son who I haven't seen for a year who I used to look after a lot and my 3rd daughter who has 3 children who are now in care and have been for 2 years and thats a long but a neglect story and I haven't seen them since, I'm not a well in my body sould and mental state and watching you ladies and receiving my very 1st box opening 1st week in April from tracyslittletreasures on ebay I'm so excited, I have a 2 antique dolls 3 cheap reborn babies and I love them all, I change them don't feed them or take them out but I do talk to them with my problems. My partner who is my best friend works and I don't go any where stay in with my 2 adorable indoor cats that keep me sane. She sold those dolls and made money off of them thats just ridiculous but i dont talk to anyone anymore even most of my family cause they have done nothing but use me for every thing and i finally got tired of it and stopped and stopped talking to them as well and i feel so much better since ive done that honestly

My second son was my heart. You couldn't love a child more than I loved that child. My other children named him the GOLDEN CHILD. My son is 38 now and married with a baby son. 5 years ago he cut me totally out of his life and texted me reasons that are untrue and unfair in which he told me to not contact him again that I was dead to him.
I had horrible pain and depression and joined a support group online of parents going through this pain. I am fine now and understand that our children become PEOPLE with their own ways of being, living and thinking and as moms we have to let them go and if they come back to us wonderful if they don't than it's okay and we are fine.

Kristie I am so sorry that a person scammed you! I too have been scammed. Took me a bit of time to get over. Don't give up! Great humans exist. I am one of those kids that didn't have a good childhood. I'm therapy now. Getting help has been the best thing I've done for myself I am so thankful you have your mother. Sweetest mom and daughter duo.
I'm so sorry to hear this that's sad I enjoy this hobby cause it really helps me what I'm going through but it's good to make friends that enjoy the same thing but I won't expect someone to give me anything to be your friend and I really love your and your mother babies beautiful collection thanks for sharing

Hi Ladies, I’m so very sorry that happened. People can be so rotten. There are good people like you guys left in the world, thank God, but man there sure seems to be a lot of people who want to scam kind people. It’s a shame. I saw this woman, sitting on the ground in the grocery store parking lot, holding a sign saying she was homeless and hungry. My family and I picked her out some groceries she could eat without needing to cook them. We thought we were helping someone who needed food, but when we took them to her, she got mad and refused the groceries and wanted money instead. She called us assholes and bitches in front out our 5 year ild autistic son. He was scared and so confused. That reaction from her really shocked us and I guess maybe we were naive. Now we just give warm winter stuff and food to the actual organization that provides meals and clothing to homeless or hungry people who come to their center asking for that. When the people beg downtown, we no longer hand them money like we used to because now they ask if they can come with us to the bank or the ATM machine to get more than the just the change we usually give them. I’ve seen on our local news where they’ve cracked people over the head or pulled out a knife and robbed them when they’ve gone with them to the ATM machine or bank. Nope! Not gonna let them happen to us. Now that Christmas is coming, it’s gonna be hard to even go downtown or ti the stores because they’ll be out there trying to scam people and we really do f people l guilty when it seems like someone is legit and really needs some help, but we can’t take the chance anymore. I never wanted to teach our son to be unkind or judgemental, but the world is so crazy today that we have to choose to protect him. It’s such a shame because he’s so sweet and would help anybody, but with his intellectual challenges, he could be so easily hurt or taken advantage of. You ladies are so awesome. I love your beautiful hearts and you guys crack me up all the time. Please know how much you are appreciated. You bring good things to the dolly community and I am grateful for you both. Take care.

I'm so sorry this happened to you...I got scammed to years ago..I sent someone 400 for a doll and I received a box with nothing in it..I recorded the whole thing sent everything to PayPal and they said it was nothing they could do .I still have a good heart bit I don't trust to easily anymore..keep being sweet 🥰

Every time I sell a doll I've had them all, people pleading with me with all kinds of sad stories. Even trying to get me to change the place where they pay. Now I only sell on Facebook and take payment there only. That stopped that. It is sad, I'm like you I'd rather give it away.

I know what your going through when you said about your son not loving you, I have 3 grown up girls and 9 grandchildren I don't see any grandchildren that's not my fault it all boils down to my 1st daughter who is satan who has 4 children but 1st child by courts live with her dad since she was 2yrs old and we haven't seen her since she was 4yrs and now she is 16 this year and the other 3 she uses them against me by if i say something wrong im banned from seeing the children and she does this a lot and i havent seen the chikdren for 5 months , my 2nd who is controlled by her husband who has one son who I haven't seen for a year who I used to look after a lot and my 3rd daughter who has 3 children who are now in care and have been for 2 years and thats a long but a neglect story and I haven't seen them since, I'm not a well in my body sould and mental state and watching you ladies and receiving my very 1st box opening 1st week in April from tracyslittletreasures on ebay I'm so excited, I have a 2 antique dolls 3 cheap reborn babies and I love them all, I change them don't feed them or take them out but I do talk to them with my problems. My partner who is my best friend works and I don't go any where stay in with my 2 adorable indoor cats that keep me sane.
