Hi, you can add a little hair conditioner mixed with water into a small spray bottle. Shake it up then spray onto her hair. Or you can spray onto the brush or comb. You can also use fabric conditioner and water. If the hair is long enough you can spray then wrap with straws or pipe cleaners. Leave to dry and then remove, it will leave some cute little baby curls. A toothbrush is great for mohair, spray then comb over your finger. That will also create some little curls. I think Piper is precious!🤗💖I have a couple of dolls with mohair and I'm not a fan of it. I use Aussie leave in conditioner on the hair and over time it has improved the texture and feel of it.💗

Kirstie put one squirt of a moisturizing conditioner in a small spray bottle, fill it up with water and shake and you have a mohair conditioner, it needs moisture and nutrients like human hair. I hope this helps. If it dries and it is still a little frizzy add another squirt of conditioner but don't put too much or you will have a greasy hair doll :)
I wonder if there was like a coating spray causing her eyes to get cloudy… depending on how brave you felt while her blue eyes were out, I wonder if a little acetone on a cotton swab with a water rinse would clear it up 🤔.

Piper is adorable!! Congrats! The blue eye that you took out looks like it has been coated with something. Maybe that’s why it looks cloudy. Is her mohair rooted? The main reason the mohair is messy is because it has not been cut well. She needs a nice hair style.
Yes, i noticed that, too...like a thin bit of plastic maybe used to protect the eye but wasn't removed before putting in the dolls head. Kristie could check to see if she can possibly peel it off using her fingernail?
Poor Piper. Frizzy hair, bald spots, cataracts. But such a sweet face. I do not like the mohair or the wigs. Wigs are the worst. But I love you ladies! ❤

No more tangles conditioner spray, doing the pencil rolls hair curls and a bit of non arisol mist hair spray I have found works well with my fuzzier baby dolls hair I just lightly fluff it with a pick when its dry make wonderful soft curls that last well 👶 🚼 🍼
Some people use the J&J No More Tangles to help soften the hair and make it more manageable. i have one doll with the mohair but it's glued on so i only use a slightly dampened washcloth to pat down the hair for styling. That is my PG Hannah (& Harley) doll that doesn't have much hair as she's a true newborn. i don't mind the mohair because to me, it looks more realistic, but that's just me. Do you think you will change her eyes back to blue if you get new eyes? Just curious... Love & {{Hugs}} from Central Ohio!

Maybe P.G. are phasing out those kits, just guessing,OR you had points. I would be hesitant about using oil because the shaft of mohair is porous, there’s a product called noodle and boo sold on Amazon that some people use for mohair or you can try that EBIN wig detangler spray I told you about. That STUPID spell check changed the name from EBIN to ebony. Sorry about that.Blessings🫂💜🦋
What do you use for matting? Does it make them sticky at all I have a charlotte from aliexpress and she was shiny so I used some matte on her but it made her sticky.
I like the mohair because its real hair not that synthetic hair. It’s frizzy because she has poor quality mohair. These doll companies try to make these dolls as cheaply as they can so they can sell them cheap. They’re made in China just like the Ali express dolls. I prefer the Ali express dolls because I can get the ones that look like real newborns. I prefer the newborns and you love the toddlers.

I use conditioner mixed with water in a spray bottle for the hair. When it dries it can help keep it in place slightly and bring out the curls.
