This book MUST be a mandatory read for ALLLLL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. GIRLS. BOYS. ADMINISTRATORS. TEACHERS. PARENTS. ALLLLL. MANDATORY READ BEFORE HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION. Just as it is mandatory to pass an anatomy course in high school, passing a course that teaches human psychological development is just as important. In fact, it's EVEN MORE important.
This book was horrible. It is about an inferior woman with a superiority complex that feels the need to prove to the world that she can acquire anything that superior men have. It's pure envy too. She talks about how she is envious of traits that men posses.
I really enjoyed this video! With all the things you were talking about it made me want to read the book. Also looking forward to the next one as always!
The whole getting interrupted and having your idea stolen is not sex restricted. Neither is saying something and people ignoring it, only to come up with the same idea five minutes later. Happens to me all the time.
Indigenous Destiny sorry I was unclear. What I meant to say was in my experience this happens to everybody without restriction fairly regularly without prejudice. If someone regurgitates my own idea back to me, these days I just say things like 'great idea, which why I suggested it to you in the first place'. I wonder sometimes why people do it, but being male it's difficult to explain the behavior away using merely sex.
Mansplaining is a misguided term and should be abolished. It simply does not reflect reality. They should just be called arrogant people, regardless of gender. Both men and women can interrupt rudely and act like they know it all. So if a woman interrupts, can we call it womansplaining? The term also does not take into account the effects of culture, roles in society and personality. There have also been updated studies to show that men do not interrupt any more than women do. It's simply a myth based on subjective experience and outdated research. Also on the topic of domestic violence, 40% of offenders are women and they are more likely to initiate violence than men. In courts, men are not taken seriously when they are beaten up by women and are often dismissed. Women receive a 60% shorter sentence on average for the same crimes. Surprisingly, very few people know these statistics.
@@i.destiny Good job not addressing any of the points and just focusing on your opinion and one word. The term 'abolish' just means to wipe out. It can apply to anything.
the reason men arent taken seriously when they soeak up against violence is not women's fault. it'stoxic masculinity that MEN pressure MEN to uphold-to be strong and never weak. women are also not taken seriously too-have you even heard the things people say to women? "she was asking for it" "if she wore something else she wouldnt have been raped" "she was a bitch so she deserved it" you dont seem to understand that mansplaining is a term because MOST women feel interrupted by men because they automatically assume she does not have any knowledge on the subject at hand. we shouldn't abolish it because it is a name for an experience women face. please don't say it does not reflect reality, because your reality is not everyone's reality. if you are not a woman, you don't understand women's reality because you've never lived your life in a woman's shoes.
Heehaw 101 Tbh if you try to give a single good reason why women are not taken seriously is maybe because of all the falsely accused rapes and men are not taken seriously when they get beaten up by a women
Brilliant, I agree. I am not a feminist and not against it, but these are huge topics and it happens so much. It's def. happens to me and it's awful especially the part about the boy who cries wolf comparison to Cassandra. Brilliant. I really feel for people of different races and immigrants who get this way of "treatment". Its not oppression it's an underestimation a form of it that get's over used because it is so easily to get away with.
It's interesting because as women we're naturally conditioned to think that it's ok to be treated a certain way by a man because society makes it "normal". But something in the back of our mind thinks "does this happen to all women, or just me? Am I crazy or are my feelings valid on the way I'm being treated...or even the treatment of the women around you.
I hate feminism more because of videos like this. I’ll never care much or respect what feminist have to say, because this shit has been forced down my throat since childhood. It’s just like being forced to believe in a religion.
Womansplaining is worse and often done a lot more often then mansplaining. Womansplaining is as relevant and exsist as much or more then mansplaining. Normal intellegent people with an IQ may refer it to as just explaining something. Actually using mansplaining or womansplaining is sexist.
Anyone "with an IQ" would've given evidence to prove that "womansplainig" is "worse and often done more" than manslaining (your words not mine). Also, exsist is not a word. Your entire comment contradicted itself in less than 5 sentences. It sounds like you were brainstorming as you were trying to mansplain; which in fact proves the argument of the book. Thank you...
@@i.destiny and your as guilty of womansplaining too. Starting with your whole video. So when a man explains, it is mansplaining. Then when women explain it must be womansplaining. Only a sexist hypocrite would think otherwise. But to normal intellegent people, it is just explaining. Just because i do not type well on a tiny keyboard does not negate my aeguement either as you make it sound.
Proofreading is an intelligent skill. It's not the act of explaining and the sex of the person that dictates mansplaining or "womansplaining" (a term that you are using for this discussion); it's the use of hyperbolic phrases and lack of statistical information to negate topics that one sex disproportionately deals with to serve one's ego. Please stop, you're digging yourself a deeper grave.
@@i.destiny mansplaining is no more real then womansplain. Your right that i do not have proof that womansplaining is worse. But there is no deffinate proof of mansplaining being worse either. But mansplaining and womansplaining are both sexist terms. If you are not being sexist, then it is just explaining. Womansplaining exist as much as mansplaining.

Even if they added it as an option for a thesis paper would be great as well. So much useful insight.

unironically these videos make me understand why misogeny is a thing
and this is GOOD

It's not about whether or not only women experience this, it's the fact that MOST women experience this a large MAJORITY of the time.

Ha! Abolished? As if it's an equivalent to slavery...you're funny. You say it's outdated as if it's a term from the 1800's.

Coming from 1years late

And can't process a complete conversation
Hope you changed

Mansplaining?! 😂😂🤣 How many likes and dislikes for this video? Just wondering.
nah! they're to sensitive to show how many people hate that feministh BS.

My dad is a religious extremist and a feminist, figure that out!
Lol that’s funny. I have to deal with my hardcore Christan parents. I still love them though.
So which one of ya'll read the book?...asking for a friend.
