There are those shows like this one which can be written off as silly or just for kids but they hit notes and emotional levels that others just cant. This one among others which I grew up with do that and always will. They can make people feel better, help them cope, and they just in general make you feel maybe nostalgic to a point especially now. These shows which will always hold a special place in my heart were how I got through the day they were one of the only things I looked forward too when getting home. I thank the creators and the wonderful community that existed around these for this life long gift. Honestly I cant and wont move on from these shows but at least they were there.

I didn't know why I liked Bonnie as a kid, but growing up I realized that its the character I relate to the most I always try to rationalize and convince myself that even if things are not okay, I can always be in control and fix things Which sometimes pushes me to hurt people close to me, since I tend to manipulate, which for me looks just like doing the right thing at the right time rather than manipulating And also pushes me to eventual predictable breakdowns, like pb at the end of this video And to be clear, I am fine with who I am like this :)

I love princess bubblegum, she went from being the "pretty pink perfect princess" to a girl who has insecurities, imperfect and can punch someone if she really wanted to. Thats one of the things that made this cartoon so good, character development.

And the development wasn’t fast. It literally took 5 years. Which is probably not that long for them since they’re both old as hell but still. Imo, they had way more chemistry than Finn and pb🥴it always felt like their relationship dynamic was like a kid at camp crushing on their camp counselor even though the counselor was way older than them. And the counselor thought that the kid was adorable for having a crush of them and liked to entertain it.

I took chances with a girl I liked for 2 years... it was amazing for 4 months, we talked about everything, we went on dates, we were exclusive, not together but officially dating; but then she turned around and said she wasn’t ready for a relationship, and it sucked... it’s been 2 weeks since then and I still really like her. We’re back at being friends, and it’s actually really good; but it still really hurts. And this will sound stupid but our nicknames for each other were bubblegum and marceline. I’m glad we spent those four months together though, and even with my future girlfriends or boyfriends. She’ll always be the original marceline to my bubblegum. :)
I love every detail leading up to their relationship. It misdirects you into thinking they're a really old friendship that went bad when in reality they were in the closet and confused about their own identity. it shows you that your partner really should be your bestfriend.
