I took one apart all the way to check the 100% compatible claim. It's far from that. Notably, the rail for the slide is completely out of spec, you cannot put an airsoft masterpeice slide on the lower. You would have to remove 1-2 millimeters of material, far beyond that of normal fitment, to put it on. TM Blowback units are not compatible, same issue as the slides, would require 1-2 millimeters of material to be removed to work. The slides also cannot accept airsoft masterpiece guide plugs, goodbye shortsroking to max. There is more to this list, but I think those 3 justify the far from 100% compatible as those are 3 of the most common things people in my area switch out first.
@@Wabble5 I have no experience with the army armament. If you want a base gun for upgrades, marui is really the only option as all of the upgrade parts are based off of marui
I pre ordered this gun as a noob airsofter months back now after my first pistol broke and this was definitely an enhancement and have had it with me overtime learning the gun and what I can do with it and recently bought an hpa starter kit and tapped drum mag from tapped airsoft switching it to a more reliable source than green gas.(hpa). I love the gun and can’t wait to shoot it even more on field for the first time on hpa. I couldn’t recommend a better starting gun has saved me in multiple situations where I coulda been elimed and had to respawn very reliable and sturdy aswell.

I purchased this HI-CAPA with the red barrel from Amazon and have been running it completely stock. It also now comes in a nice hard case with foam. I’d say worth it as a secondary, but not as a speedsoft primary.
It is Metal however the threaded barrel has a thick orange paint on it. You should get the one with an optics plate, it will be easier to hit stuff at range with it.
the rear sight looks like something from a 3rd world gunsmith that saw one too many bad shooter movies, WTH; grip stippling looks like crap but shut up and take my money cause this will make me look totally gangsta in the hood airsoft games
can someone explain me the lock back? so i can only get the lock back when the mag its out of ammo but i can't understand why this guy can locks back when he wants the gun to test it

I got a knightshade not that long ago and I got a green gas drum mag for it but whenever I shoot it it doesn’t blowback but it shoots bbs out and acts like a spring pistol
I heard you'll have to replace the whole barrel with a tokyo marui barrel but I've also heard its not 100% compatible so extra pieces need replaced a lot just to replace one thing... Im honestly not sure

all airsoft guns are 6mm bbs. for indoors use .25 - .28s outdoors use .30 or .32s anything higher wouldn't be allowed at most fields. BB guns aren't airsoft and shoot 4.5mm bbs which are metal, copper, lead... if you get caught using those at a field you will definitely get banned and probably face charges for assault.

Nope, hicapa mags replicate a double stack mag and is about double the width of a 1911 mag

A Hi-Capa is a 1911 with a double stacked mag so they are the same, they just hold a lot more rounds than regular 1911s
