Great video! one thing i always liked about the HST was its ability to accelerate out of a station without any sensation of movement, it was eerie. Enjoyed riding on these to the Westcountry as a kid, and seeing them up close at Teignmouth seafront. Those HST's on the Grand Central network look weird with the buffers sticking out under the cab. The special livery section was good, that old BR liveried train looks so smart in fresh, clean paint.
Great collection of HST's. Sheffield in 2003, Sunderland in 2011 via Grand Central and a year later, Penzance. Those are my memories on board these iconic trains.
Excellent video caputered the class 43. Only coach missing was the buffet/bar car from the long distance sets. No one seams to have pictures of these. Do any still survive?
Fabulous 125 action, especially the first 20 minutes of EMT/EMR , my local mainline. Keeping some ex LNER sets until May 2021 so not all is lost.... yet!
They should NEVER have withdrawn the 43's (hst's). When they re engined them, they gave them another 25 years of life, 100 times better than voyagers.😤
The HST were literally made out of plastic though? Anyway that new 0lastic far exceeds the capability of these HSTs. Shame the HST dragged us so far behind though. We'd have much faster trains if it weren't for them!
Airpollution by dieseltrains , that,s bad very bad , that,s why i like the Virgin Pendolino Electric Multipple Units , and these trains are going faster than these noisy HST train !!

I am glad I got ride these years ago in their prime. I still remember the Valenca engines as they screamed out of the stations. Good times.
I'm glad to have made my journeys on some of them as well. Granted the EMR HST had its problems, but on a good day it was a nice experience.

Well, well...The Class 43 diesels have their own _Doctor Yellow,_ just like the Shinkansen maintenance train! 🚅👍
Lovely catches
Excellent video, you have much better footage that I do!
Excellent railway video as always MT Productions, used to love making my journeys on some of these HSTs. Anyways, have a good New Year.
The original IC125 Livery has to be the best

Nice catch of trains! I also love how I'm on of the HTSs there.

Finish definitely in May, end of current timetable 21/5/21
XC still have those, but these are likely to be withdrawn in October this year. Scotrail will keep them a few more years
I do miss the HSTs on the East Coast Mainline and Midland Mainline
Still better than the class 800's
i will miss the HST's when there gone.
Love the 1080p
1.57.03 The New Measurement train has its running lights the wrong way with red at the front!
Shame there weren't any screaming VP185s at speed...great upload though 👍🏾
I love it
Great
Cross country is currently the best livery for these sets imo.
1:25:14 My FGW HST Ultimate Fan! :3
Sorry Sir, the opening pages have Proprty there instead of Property at 00:17

like train
Sorry sir again 1:08:53 Cross Country, Cornwell should be Cornwall
I hate the HSTs! They're mostly retired now and they're not my local trains!
Wonder what the horsepower is on them
Why does the initials say EMR when its written it says East Midlands Trains...odd?
East Midlands Trains became East Midlands Railway

@ Heightallandhe
British Railways last 'proper' train look at all the plastic crap we get now!
