5:40 creature bond actually deals the damage to 'that creature's controller' meaning if you enchant your own tree of perdition and kill it, you will actually take the damage yourself. You'd have to gift the Tree to an opponent first, then kill it. *edit" Also, I'd use drafna's restoration as a wipe response. Late game, someone wipes all artifacts, so on your turn you put all their mana rocks on top of their deck. unless they have a way to shuffle, they're going to stall out.
Wow, how did I mis-read that so badly!? Thanks for catching that. I’ll do a correction video as soon as I can get it out. Yup definitely, good one, I think we’re thinking along the same lines, just flood your opponents out with a bunch of stuff they don’t need and doesn’t give them any draw power. But I like your idea of specifically following a board wipe with it. Since its CMC is 1, you’ll probably have enough left up to cast it, even if you’re the one who casted the wipe. And to your point, yea just have to pick the right opponent who doesn’t have much draw power on the board, there’s usually at least one. Nice suggestion! 👍
Oh I was thinking of using drafna's as sort of a way to punish someone for clearing the board. Wiping all artifacts and then stacking the deck of the player with the least deck interaction is diabolical! That's thinking like a true Blue mage right there, and I commend you for it!
I've been playing MTG Arena for a little while now, mainly draft and historic. I also just started building a commander deck to play at my LGS. I'm going jeskai flyers with a decent amount of control, because I too am a blue mage at heart
Oooh nice, good spread of formats. Let me know how your commander games with that go! If you can play heavy blue mage style decks without your opponents hating you, then you’re doing just fine 😂 lol And of course, pick up a copy of Drafna’s Restoration for it!
Oracle text for Creature Bond reads: Card Text: Enchant creature When enchanted creature dies, Creature Bond deals damage equal to that creature's toughness to the creature's controller. So, it isn't targeted damage. It is still good for big butt creatures and politics.
Yes, thanks for catching that! I have a correction video coming out soon. Hope you found some of the other ones interesting. Have you tried playing any of these?

Thank you for commending my sadistic tendencies 😂 what kind of decks/formats do you play?

Never played Magic, but blue cards are smth pokemon should consider creating as a subset!
You should try! Well I guess water Pokemon are a similar vibe. Colors in magic are like types in Pokemon.
