It’s so weird that he’s consistently shown as being able to bring out the best in Bart but basically raises his own kids like they’re captive cult children.
@@yoonhocho9391 Pretty much exactly my parents. They don't exactly do anything bad but that indifference on who I am ends up being just as damaging. There was never any push to try things. If I didn't want to do something they wouldn't make me go just to try it instead they would just say "oh that's ok" and just leave me be. 90% of who I am as a person has been entirely dictated by what I myself had to seek out. But most who have parents like that just become lazy
The fact Bart as not to be insulted in French isn’t because he can’t understand it because he can Bart though the series have shown great skills on languages.
Thank you for all the uploads!
Have a great year my friend!
👍
Flanders is such a good influence

Flanders is angel
Ned Flander's without a doubt, one of the best character in the whole franchise!
Bart has a healthy level of skepticism
This episode feels like a mix between the b plot of the Simpsons Movie and the main plot of the episode where marge "Adopts" Nelson.
I think they used the same writers
This just is turning into homer being an even shittier father. At least on the early seasons, it seemed like he cared

Poor Flanders can't catch a break

Yes, he also went to France on exchange in Season 1 where he was forced to work on a vineyard and became fluent
