Trains approaching Yesvantpur Jn. Are always late... The YPR KCVL garibrath is a classic example... The train gets hopelessly late after departure from Banaswadi while approaching Yesvantpur.

There is much much improvement in your Video compared to 5 years before. Details of train, Tickets booking, food review, general information of Station, so on. ❤❤❤
46:53 basically Chikkabanavara is a loop station it's a common problem for every train entering to yeswanthpur from Shivamoga, Hubali, and Hassan line
The major reasons for this bottle neck is because
1: Yeshwantpur is running over its capacity since it also connect Yelahanka Delhi line . Platform availablity is hard they don't have space to expand
And the other reason all trains orginate and end Their journey at this station
And it's hard to when it becomes very hard after 7.30 as many trains come and go
More trains need to bypass Yeshwantpur and take the Banaswadi line to terminate at SMVT Bengaluru: that terminal is made to decongest Yeshwantpur only, especially Bangalore-Gandhidham, Bangalore-Jodhpur etc. terminals need to be changed to SMVT
Yeah ik the yeshwantpur junction is so important that form evey direction trains terminate, halt or originate, and it's a major connection between Hubli-banglore-mysore-chennai route and give a link even to Delhi and Mumbai line's I hope swr soon finds a way to decongest this line so that trains are not delayed by 3-4 hours being stuck at yeshwantpur

My dad is from Sagar near Shimoga and mom from Bangalore. 45 years ago during summer holidays we regularly visited Bangalore and Sagar. I remember we used to travel by meter gauge trains and from Bangalore to Birur, it was diesel loco and from Birur to Sagar was steam locomotive 🚂. Same situation returning.
