- Due to the events of the 3rd Hunger Games, a rule was implemented the following year stating to be forbidden to physically harm or engage in a fight with another tribute before entering the arena.

I don't know if it was intentional or not but I really liked that detail of crossing the tributes off one by one during Joshua's cart massacre. It made the order of deaths, as psychotic as this may sound, more easy to follow. He was smart by targeting the males first before the females as well which was a cool detail from that montage. ❤

This is so good! And damn were those peacekeepers deaf when Joshua was killing the tributes? Like how can you not hear metal again flesh and people screaming. I love it! It’s nothing we’ve ever used to!
Thank you for your comment! ❤ Trains are kinda loud, I am not sure if it would be very audible from a few wagons away - but even if it was I'd imagine that early year Peacekeepers would not care much, district citizens are seen as savage and screaming/crying was probably very expected.
Joshua should have done medbay scan, he could have made it to the games if he did. If he did, they would probably guess that the peacekeepers killed the other tributes.
Crappy among us reference/joke aside, this was actually amazing. If I hadn't watched the video you made about the first 10 HG victors, I would have actually thought that D6M would win this year. Can't waitnfor more.
😆😆definitely not crappy, it made me laugh! Thank you so much for the kind comment - we were actually debating whether it's more fun to only reveal the victors in the end or have those teasers (showing the first 10 victors beforehand) so people can speculate. But some of the later years will inevitably be a bit victor-centered as arenas get bigger and some tributes may never cross each other's path, so I am not sure if we could always keep the victor a mystery until the end. 🤔
I already know that eventually I will go back and watch all the Hunger Games in order. Just to see it evolve. I really enjoy these videos, keep it up!

This is a really good series. It is also interesting to see how snow changed the games. Here it was just mainly punishment, but Snow turned it into more entertainment most likely to cover up the darkness of the games.
Entertainment is a powerful thing, Lucy Gray Baird showed Snow how he could market her singing, not only to cover up the darkness but it would also lead to people be more involved, more interested, more willing to sponsor and bet on their favorites... thank you so much for the kind words!
I love the way these videos I made! I have actually (after watching the second annual game video and tbosas again) really been thinking about how easy it really was for any tribute to sneak in weapons since they Where never really inspected or touched really, as well as them being put in the arena in the same clothes as he ones they wear in the reaping, so naturally it really makes sense how Joshua was able to secretly take out some tributes with a secret knife, the same way that none thought that Lucy Gray might have anything with her (The compact with the poison).

Exactly what we thought, too - if they were not checked thoroughly before going into the arena we assumed that even earlier (on the 3rd) if they were checked it would be very lightly. We also feel like a lot of rules and protocols were only introduced AFTER something happened, which forced those things to be implemented.

Another great video! I like how you incorporate the demonisation of the districts in this one. I wonder if this also happened with Enobaria? Maybe she had to bite another tributes throat out of survival and the Capitol then forced the image of the savage with the filed teeth onto her?
I also wonder of many Head Gamemeakers there were between Volumnia Gaul (at least 1-11) and Seneca Crance (72-74, according to the movies)
In our fanon, this definitely won't be the only time it happens. Part of the whole brainwashing thing when it comes to the Games is having to make others believe what they're doing is right, by finding justifications anywhere. We hope that you like what he have in mind for Enobaria later on 😊
About the Gamemakers, we know at least of Snow and (at least in our opinion) Plutarch, which I highly doubt his first time as a Head Gamemaker would immediately be the 3rd Quarter Quell. In our fanon we made them be on some sort of rotation, other than Gaul and Snow who will be in charge many years in a row (meaning others might do like 3 games in a row as Head Gamemakers, then come back later in the timeline)

Great story! I would have loved to see Gaul's reaction after she heard Joshua had been killed by a peace keeper after she instructed them to make sure he made it to the arena alive.

The Wiki is also written by us (we are two main writers in the project), but I completely understand it being more fun in video form! :) Thank you so much for the support. Right now the Wiki is a bit more advanced than RUclips because we only started on YT recently, but in the future when we catch up, the idea is to have the RUclips video up before the corresponding Wiki page.

this really reminds me of Christian Blanco’s series “Tales of the Hunger Games”!
Starting to see a pattern to why the games were viewed less before the 10th
1 Gaul saught people in the district as second class
2 no medicial teams or medicine or any antidotes or food before the games at least
3 no sponsorships or betting
4 Poor Economy during the dark days and post dark days
Until eventually snow wanted people to see the games as a seeing tbe district competitors as bachelors and bachlorettes and festivity of sacrificing 21 other people for the safety of the many aka the captial rich and for career districts on a surface level for them to encourage themselves to participate via generations of propaganda
Well said, just like Snow said in the Ballad - who will watch if there is no victor? People need someone to root for if they wanted so hard to turn the Games into a spectacle.

I really like this! I could even see his district referring to him as that, especially by those who still remember him many decades later when most of the population would not know about him anymore.

When we first started this channel, we posted the stories in Portuguese, but recently we changed to an English format. The videos you see private are the old Portuguese videos. I have a few questions about how Joshua killed Everone from district 7 to 12 but himself why did nobody notice he was the only one in the car and first of all after he killed on tribute from the district the other one would know that’s my only questions
Those are good questions! Sorry if it wasn't so clear in the video. Nobody noticed until the arrival at the Capitol because back then, the tributes were left alone in the cattle cars, and on each stop at a District, the tributes would be simply pushed inside the car without much care - just from opening the door, the Peacekeepers wouldn't be able to have a view of the full inside of the cattle car.
About the second question, the other tribute from the same district knew yes, that's why some attempted to fight back. But Joshua was an 18 years old boy with better physical condition than your average tribute, so he was able to outpower them even in a 1 Vs 2, especially since he was the only one with a weapon.

I'm graduating soon from my master's degree and sadly I am not able to commit to a consistent schedule just yet, as my free time is very unpredictable - but I am hoping to post at least once every two weeks! So I'm aiming the 4th Games for around the 12th of May, more or less.

Also Douglas was non-binary not male but he still got reaped (I'm saying he because I don't like saying they/them it's confusing)
Well when it comes to your character you can pick their pronouns but you should address others by their right pronouns if they chose they/them :) I'm sure you can get used to it with some practice!
Regarding your story, I would just throw in the mix some more District-specific names (nothing wrong with having a few out of the norm, we do the same, but it helps with the immersion!)
