If this ND team can finally get healthy -- getting Westbeld and Karlen back -- they are an extremely dangerous team big picture. In the meantime, they need to tread water. It is amazing that they continue to hang in with the limitations they have on available players due to injury. Case in point: in the ND/Texas game, Texas played 11 players while ND played only 6. Texas got 59 minutes of playing time off their bench while ND got only 16. It is untenable for ND to be able to make a championship run with only six or seven scholarship players available. But IF Westbeld and Karlen come back, as expected, ND has a real shot at a deep run -- largely based on the incredible backcourt this team has. I doubt there is a better backcourt duo in the country than Hidalgo/Miles. But, beyond that, I'm certain there is not a better backcourt trio than Hidalgo/Miles/Citron. Looking forward to seeing this team at something close to full strength, with Westbeld and Karlen in the mix. They can be dangerous.
