IT. SMOKES. Absolutely amazing job! The detail is crazy, even the movements of the person inside the suit are flawless. I'd love to watch a series documenting the making of this thing. I hope someday I can get up the gumption to make my own - nothing in this life is comparable to the joy that you feel when you make a masked serial killer costume and you get to walk around in public with it on.

Dude I agree big time. Would love to see the work that went on in this awesome costume!!! I love Cosplay so much, that this is definitely a project for the future. One of my first bigger projects : ) Scott has made amazing characters that many fans will and have loved for a long time 😊
If I was there, I would’ve hyped the dude up so much before he went. I would’ve told him to really get into the walk cuz low key his spring trap walk was there but he wasn’t putting in his complete effort. I really wanted to see him do a little bit more than “scratch” at the audience

I hope Scott Cawthon has seen this video, and feels good knowing that he has fans of his series that are so talented that they can make costumes so good that they border on CGI.
Agreed 100%. So much amazing art has come out of the FNAF fandom, not just insane cosplays like this but also music and comics and mini movies and fangames and everything in between. Scott should be proud to have had such a big role in bringing together such an awesome and talented community
no CGI for fNAF movie. Get Cosplayers. also if Neither Matpat nor Markiplier are in it we riot at dawn.
@@i-erngyantfan4lyfe925 The team making the movie would have to be crazy to not at least consider them. They're not only both massive reasons why the FNAF fanbase is what it is today, but they're also both excellent actors. Matpat was a theater kid for many years and Mark has played so many characters it's insane, both in his own projects for his channel and in other people's like the tv show he was in recently. He has also technically already been involved in the FNAF universe because he played a spokesperson for FNAF AR in one of the trailers when that game first came out. They both have plenty of experience and the movie wouldn't feel complete without at least some sort of reference to them, in my opinion at least

Not only is the costume probably one of the best costumes I've ever seen, the cosplayer also has the movements down to a tee. Bravo, 10/10, wouldn't get springtrapped again (bc that shit hurts)

Absolutely. The apparatus adds that essential height to the performer, and really adds in that intimidation and factors in for the mummy head inside the suit. It would be something to see this in person

The jittery jaw movements are what really sells the cosplay for me. Perfectly encapsulates the janky, damaged but still barely functional nature of Springtrap in my opinion.
Trying to grab the person at the end, truly getting in character! xD I love it, I aspire to make suits that come anywhere near the quality of yours some day! The fog coming from your suit is BRILLIANT!

In conclusion: this cosplay is so good that it looks like someone went into the game, perfectly captured springtraps every aspect and movements and just brought it to real life.

@@shockarock thats why I said small plates. That way you have some traction. Just put them on the front or back of your shoe. Or even do it on the base of springtraps foot, not your own shoe
Never been actually frightened of FNAF, but if I were alone in a dark room with this cosplayer, I’d be shitting my pants. That’s so good, it almost feels like the real suit

The character movement is just absolutely incredible, not only is the costume so amazingly wonderful and full of detail, but the smoke and the way they move just makes it so stunning and astonishing. Absolutely amazing work!!

I don’t like Five Nights at Freddy’s, but holy shit i’d be lying if i said this didn’t deserve first place. Absolute master craftsmanship. Nailed the movement as well! Huge respect to this cosplayer.

You're really good at portraying the stiff, shaky motions of a run-down animatronic! As an actor, I am very impressed!!
Not only is the cosplay in itself is crazy detailed, but the user really got into the character as well, really brought the suit to life.

really highlights the beauty in transformation through costumes, you fully get to embody that character temporarily as you wear the costume, and its a beautiful thing. Goes to show all personas are ultimately smoke and mirrors, and depending on the context we can really choose to act or behave however we want. It reinforces our capacity to fluidly shift identities as humans and we're not just boxed into one thing like how dogmatic society encourages.
The costume is so impressive. When I first saw your channel, I thought it was AR or CGI. Props to you!!!
The costume is awesome but can we talk about the ACTING? The movements were on point! It was just “robot that doesn’t work” or a zombie walk, the shaking of certain limbs, and the contorted limp he has is nailed perfectly and nailed the balance between dying human and broken machine, and the genius idea of making each piece fit a little loose so when they shook it looked like the mechanical pieces were struggling to move brings this from good cosplay to a great one!
It's not just that the costume itself is a flawless recreation of the character model, but the acting and movements really elevate this cosplay to the next level.
Literally the coolest thing I've ever seen. The smoke man, THE SMOKE, and the acting and glitchy movements. This is whole thing is absolutely flawless, well done my dude. Mad kudos.

The movements really make it work; you actually looked like a broken, malfunctioning robot and it was awesome. If you had just walked around like you normally would, no matter how good the design, the effect would have been nerfed bc the motions are so integral to the creep factor. You fucking nailed it. It's the same reason why the '2 Trenchcoats Inside of a Kid' sketch routine works so well; the motions sell the idea

@@skfdkd no, it was springtrap. There were holes in the suit; it had been rotting and falling apart. It’s wasn’t Golden Bonnie anymore. At least that’s what I think discerns Golden Bonnie from Springtrap. And technically, Springtrap is the only official canon name for that suit/animatronic. “Spring Bonnie/Golden Bonnie” are fan-made names. (Sorry about this little tangent; I’m not trying to be argumentative, I just know a lot when it comes to FNAF.) have a good day :)

@@skfdkd during FNAF 3 it’s called Springtrap and it hasn’t been burned before. the book “the freddy files” defines springtrap’s appearance as “A tarnished yellow spring lock animatronic rabbit.” That matches the movie suit’s description. Both of us are right; it’s two names for the same character. 🤷🏽 it’s all semantics. There’s no official definition of what the difference is
I saw the costume at the actual event just walking around, it was super cool and accurate to the character it was amazing that I wish I took a picture with them

I can imagine (based on Game Theory's lore for the character) Afton just being "Who the fuck are these people? Where am I?" And just sees people cheering for him and he's like "Well, why not" and gives them all a wave as he walks off stage

That is so cool!! He had the jarring sudden movements down pack! The smoke and the wires and everything! Flawless designing. I do agree with someone in the comments who said he should put metal plates under the feet so you can hear him stomp around, that'd be so awesome but its still perfect as is with or without.
