Hi Richard I am really looking forward to your Christmas beer, I have to say your wine kits are the best so easy to do and all the you tube advice is brilliant
Mark we are working on the Christmas brews as we speak - Rich
Hi, happy customer here. I'm really enjoying your Superior wine kits, and have two beers fermenting now - the Imperial stout, and bohemian pils. Also very pleased with your spirits range. I'm only down the road from Chesterfield, so I must call in at some point.
Aidan would be great to see you in the shop! - Rich
I’ve made plenty of these beerworks kits and I would say let them condition for a while after a couple of weeks they tasted ok left them for another couple of weeks and they were great that couple of weeks extra makes a massive difference keep em coming guys.
Does anyone know when I add the fruit into lucky freedom? the instructions in the kit don’t mention them at all
Hi Richard I have to say I’ve been brewing for over a year now I’m done beers, ciders, wine and spirits. I brew a beer works kit every month and leave it for 2 months to condition I’ve done the last 3 limited edition kits and they are fantastic really can’t wait to try the grapefruit APA. One thing I do find is my beers always come out on the slightly darker side in colour rather than more commercial beers like the pale ales etc but I’m not sure if that’s me doing something wrong or just how these kits are meant to be but the flavour is excellent would love to see a citrus haze IPA and a few different lager options. I recently visited your Liverpool shop all the way from Somerset and really enjoyed looking around the staff were fantastic 👍
Sam we are working on some lighter malts so no its not anything you are doing wrong. The IPA and Bitter are quite dark brews glad to hear you visited us in Liverpool. Hope the visit was good.
Richard, you’re making life so hard……which beer kit do I brew next?I’ve brewed about 10 different Beerwork kits over the last 3 years and they are all fantastic and would brew them again and again! You then produce another fantastic sounding kit(s). You are correct with the shops giving me opportunity to chat and gain knowledge. For anybody that hasn’t brewed a Beerworks (or Wineworks) kit are missing out! For the few extra ££ over 50 bottles you get a great quality over the mainstream kits with an extra malt extract …Guys, please Keep the new flavours coming! PS Let the beer mature even after 6+ months the beers keep on getting better, I never try until at least 4 weeks after bottling and after another 4 weeks they have matured further. I am getting married next week in Liverpool and our favours are all made using Still-Spirts which do taste the same as the mainstream and work out so cheap….as they say the more you drink the more you save!
Thanks Mark such super comments. The cheque is in the post!!! Will keep coming up with them the fruit IPA are the ones which the Commercial Boys seem to be featuring now.
Hi Richard, I am thinking of ordering some of your beerworks kits but looking at the instructions for brewing it states group A after 5 days but further along the instructions it states group A after 10 days. Sorry but a little confused and possibly this would be self explanatory when I open the kit but could you just clarify. Thank you
Hi! All the Bitter IPA types will do a fermentation for 5 days at which point they would then have the hops added and left for a further 5 days (10 in total from the start).
You’re getting a lot of products there for the price.
Thanks Daz you have hit the nail on the head they really are great value considering what's included
@@LoveBrewing Hi I’ve bought plenty of products from you before, I want to make a Pauliner Hell lager with a beer kit. I normally use coopers or Morgans as a base and have recently moved on to German lager yeast and a fermentation fridge to keep the brew cool. Can you recommend maybe some of your own products and what sort of yeast and hops you would use? Much appreciated.
Our two lager kits the Southern Gold Digger and the Pilsner both use a lager yeast which ferments at ambient room temp so no need to use a fridge. They are excellent. Rich
