Liberal MP says she’s leaving politics over disrespectful dialogue, threats, misogyny

- Liberal MP Pam Damoff says she won’t run again in the next federal election, saying she has experienced misogyny, disrespectful dialogue in politics and threats to her life.
Damoff says she’s proud of her time in politics but it is no longer for her, and it’s time to turn the page to a new chapter.
She has represented Oakville North-Burlington, a riding west of Toronto, since 2015.
Damoff announced her planned exit with a letter posted on her Facebook page.
She says the current tone of politics is being driven by a desire for social-media clips and likes - a drastic change in how politicians interact with each other and the public.
C’mon Pam, tell the truth, you’re jumping ship because you’re 11 points behind in the polls.
She leaving because she knows she will not be re-elected or her pension kicks in. Abandoning a sinking ship, lol.
Good she set for pension. She vote 23 times for carbon tax increase.

@@kanuduh5234 tell me about it. She led a smear campaign against Sabrina Maddeaux when she announced her candidacy to run as a CPC candidate. Funny because I thought she was all for women running for public office. She’s happy to discourage women from running as long as they’re conservatives.

She'd blame an extinction level meteor hitting earth on 'misogyny' and say she's the one that would be mostly affected by it.
On one hand I say good. With the policies and approaches her government implemented not to mention the criminal spending of our money. On the other hand I can't get behind abuse or threatening of her family. I understand why people may want to vent at her or confront her in public when they are frustrated.

Pam is always playing the victim card until she is caught & then she tries to walk it all back with that treacherous smile as she seeths through her teeth.
Misogymy, she must be talking about her boss or other men in the LIEberal government.
