I think I should get the Deluxe Edition but I'm not gonna get rid of the Lionsgate version because I'm gonna move it onto another shelf were I can just look at it.

Nice job with the video. I got the same set in the mail today and so far the cases had no issues holding the discs. I am wondering if it's just a case of some sets have worse holders than others? I also tested out the picture quality on both the sitcom and the cartoons and all of them looked really good for 480p upscales on my set up.
yeah with these TV show box sets the discs are either too loose or too tight and it's always a pain to get them in and out and sometimes the button pushers break the discs on TV shows or movies
Ryan Reynolds has done a reboot of ALF and I am scared to watch it cause I grew up loving ALF just as much as you did. I really hope he didn't ruin it, but you know how it goes nowadays.

cool i too have this dvd set its not truly a complete collection set its missing the rare original un-aired pilot is missing you can only get that on the lions gate season 1 set disc 4 and i purchased it to truly have a truly complete alf collection

I'm gonna sell me ALF box set from Lionsgate. And oh, back in 2001 when Nick at Nite reran ALF for a very brief time during the Revenge of the 80s week, they showed the uncut original episodes.
I picked this up at Walmart last night and I also had loose discs on mine. Packaging is definitely better than the previous dvd set because they use an actual box instead of a crappy slipcover. But the cases (like all amaray cases) still suck. I hate amaray cases because the laminated part gets all wrinkly and these are already wrinkled. PQ didnt seem any better than the previous set. Im kind of mad at myself for blowing $60 on this because I already had the previous set for $20. Im trying to save up for The Young Indiana Jones dvds and the Clone Wars blu ray set and the German Miami Vice blu ray set, so blowing this kind of money hurts.
If you have the original release of season one the last disc has the pilot episode as a special feature that for some reason they didn’t include on this set
I noticed the colors looks different then the Lionsgate release from years ago. Also the episodes on that DVD are the actual correct order just like it did on TV. The Lionsgate release has the episodes in the uncorrect order. Looks like Shout! Factory has kicked butt against Lionsgate.
It’s almost 2024 and they still sell all these dvds that just flop around inside of the case. I already have the previous set. I wish it included a digital upload of the comics more than the cartoons which I’m not too much a fan of.

This is at Walmart for around $50 that’s cheaper than what I paid ordering directly from shout😢
