I don't recall off hand, I would have to go back through my notes and see if I have it. The handful of videos released recently with music intros were made a while back. I'm glad you liked it, I thought it was a cool cover as well.
@@PartisanCommsGroup it's definitely one of the better covers, of any song, I've heard in recent times. I am trying to learn about HAM radio and SDR so your channel popping up in my suggested videos was perfect timing. When I get more time, I'll definitely be checking out some m ore of your videos.
@@PartisanCommsGroup I work security and we use two-way radios. I recently changed jobs to work for a better employer and my lead officer is really into it and just talking with him, I became interested. The reason this video was perfectly timed is I had grabbed a Software Defined Radio dongle off of amazon a while back but I don't have an antenna that will receive very good.
@@PartisanCommsGroup I've worked security for a long time and we use two way radios. I recently switched jobs to a better employer and my lead officer is a big HAM radio guy and I guess him being an enthusiast has rubbed off on me a little. About a year ago, I also purchased an RTL SDK off of Amazon, though I don't have an antenna that allows me to pick up much more than AM/FM radio broadcasts. And that's not exactly why I wanted the SDK. But needing a good antenna is the reason this video popping up in my suggested feed was perfect timing.
Duly noted, but perhaps I should provide some better context. In some videos with music intros the intent was to provide a little randomness. Some are for entertainment, some are to highlight the city I live in (which was the case of this video), and others are esoteric. Some of the esoteric ones are a tip of the cap to a friend or family member, an inside joke, or maybe a topic we discussed.
Perfectly timed. This is a project I’d like to try.
When I get around to attempting this again I'll use speaker wire next time. The wire I used for the demo wasn't ideal.
Thanks again PCG. Ive wanted to build my own antenna as well. I think I can do it. Thanks
I'm digging these alternate song versions.
Thanks, I've been trying to change things up a little lately.
Are you in a band?
No, but maybe one day I'll take up learning guitar.
Who is the artist that did that cover of Beck's "Loser" at the beginning of this video? Awesome rendition of a classic.

Did not like the music video
So?
I'm terribly sorry you didn't enjoy your free music video, sir. Would you like your money back?
@@PartisanCommsGroup The music video isn't bad in the right setting, but in this case it is off topic.

@@PartisanCommsGroup It's a nice sound (yes, I'm a formally trained musician/performer/director). People can always skip forward.
