Both have about the same amount of new content, so I would go with the theme / look / mechanisms that you prefer. I wouldn't say one is better than the other, just different.
Sunken Treasures and Mummy's curse adds more cards to use with those new boards, but this one has different mechanisms that aren't necessarily card based.
Personally I've enjoyed the Sunken Treasures the most so far, Mummy's Curse is ok, and this weekend will be trying out Clank! In Space for the first time! I'm very keen to get this new "Gold & Silk" set now for the original Clank!

Clank! is starting to remind me of Concordia with all the new maps, and the subtle changes they make. Really looking forward to trying out this one.

Isnt a plus that Sunken Treasures offers new cards, while Gold & Sink doesnt?
