    Ingredients:
    1 1/2 kilo pork mask, jowl and ears
    1/4 kilo chicken liver
    1 large white onion
    1/4 cup calamansi extract
    1/4 cup vinegar
    2 tbsp Fish sauce
    1 tsp sugar
    1 tsp rock salt
    1 tsp ground black pepper
    3 pieces red chilis
    for boiling:
    3-4 liters water
    1 tbsp rock salt
    3 pieces bay leaves
    1/2 tsp peppercorns
    4 cloves garlic
    for sizzling plate: margarine

    yan, ganyan talaga ang totoong sisig. ganito nakikita ko kapag ginagawa nila dun sa tindahan nila. pero simula namatay si aling lucing bumaba quality ng sisig nila. halos puro sibuyas nalang ngayon.

    I am from Indonesia, now live in USA, have never been in the Philippines, but have Filipino friends and I love Sisig. Very interesting way to make it. I doubt that I will make it one day, but who knows? I am grateful that there is a Filipino market & restaurant near by where I can order the sisig, and it is very good. I am very grateful and I appreciate that there is a text with big letters so I can understand how sisig is made, I am an elderly woman who has problems reading small letters.       @@roipogi10 NOT 100%. "One of the most famous cultural dishes known in Bali is babi guling (spit roast pig). The pig is stuffed with base genep and slow-roasted on an open fire until the skin is crispy and the meat succulent." Also one of my favorites.

      a little amount of sugar is being used simply to add umami and to balance out the saltiness and sourness from the dish. This is not intended to add sweetness,. We boiled chicken liver for this recipe just to boost creaminess and balanced the dish moist content. we opt out grilling the liver since 90% of the dish is already grilled from the pork. . thanks for watching! 😀

      medyo mlalim ang palayok sir..mas preferred cast iron pan,. or kahit anong kawali,.. nilalagyan kse ng additional char ung ilalim,. pero kahit wala ok parin,.. masarap parin ang sisig.. thanks! 👍👍👍

    well mga boss kung ang sisig moy dinaan sa gilingan at serving as is MARUMI YON. madaling mapanis. ISA PA KUNG ITOY FRIED peligro sa panis. Grilled sisig is the best. Since 1986 akong nagtinda ng sisig dto sa North America. Best on experience lang. Durog na sisig ay giniling ito at madaling mapanis. SINUBUKAN KONA YAN. HAND CUT IS THE BEST PLUS INIIHAW LAHAT....       yes...totoo yan. depende na yan sa panlasa ng tao. siguro yung mga datihan o matagal ng nakatikim ng sisig ni aling lucing noong unang panahon ay kabisado na nila ang original na lasa sa ngayon kasi commercialized na yung sisig na siniserve nila.... yun lang yung tingin ko 😊

      to keep it longer for a month wag munang lagyan ng sibuyas ang itatagong sisig. Store sisig in separate containers para. kung ano. lang yung kakain yun lang ang ma thathaw. Pag kakain na doon lang lagyan ng sibuyas 😊

    As a native of the City sisig originated I can assure you this is not how the original sisig is made. The liver is should be grilled and not boiled and mashed with lemon/vinegar.

    Hi! I'm Indonesian n I love sisig, ate it for several times during my college years. Now that I'm back home for good, I cant find Sisig here, so I thought I wanna cook it myself. But.. it seems so hard!! Boiling, grilling, mincing, make paste (or is that a marinade?), then cook it again? I have never thought that cooking sisig needs that many stage of cooking n not to mention lots of dedication 😭 I thought it was just a minced pork with spices.. but it actually very far from it

      pwede naman po ilagay sa freezer. nasubukan ko na yan ng 3 to 5 days. pero kung sa negosyo gagawin much better wag na munang lagyan ng onions yung mga sisig na ilalagay sa freezer

      Tama po.. yung mga kinakalawang na sizzling plate yun po yung legit,. ibig sabihin gawa sila sa cast iron, kelangan lang naman bigyan sila ng tamang care each time na ginagamit para hinde ito kalawangin, ang tawag dyan season,. please see link below how to season or take care of your sizzling plate:

    As a Kapampangan born ang raised in angeles where Sisig was also born, I can testify this is how we make the authentic Sisig. The original way but of course you can make you own version based on available ingredients. Kanyaman na ning Sisig kayabe ing marimlang beer.
