@@cj_ocean I think Ken is really strong in the latest patch but for the most part of the games lifespan, if you wanted to play a shoto you should just play akuma. He also has some issues with combos not connecting in hard to predict circumstances and leaving him punishable.
Right now I think he's great but at this point most high level ken players already moved on lol
@@Brian_F you say he has trouble connecting but I’m 99% sure most of my times losing to a ken confirm it goes below/above my hurt box and sometimes doesn’t even touch me, but he still gets em off. His magnetism powers are too strong

I always hated ken till yesterday i picked him up to add him to my jack of all trades roster. Surprisingly he was fun af and yes im talking bout using his proper buttons,neutral and landing a few combos.
Its like that with just about everyone who doesnt play ken, hate him til play him and realize he is very nuanced and has many layers to his gameplay.
I only found out Ken's dp can punish -4 frame stuff (hecatoncheires ftw) because I played against a super gold smurf in ranked.
