One thing I’d like to add about Asetek products that aren’t mentioned in your videos as they’re not product specific: Asetek being a smaller company then say Fanatec, are able to give customers their full attention when needed. A friend of mine got the higher end pedals, and the hydraulic system was leaking. He tweeted at them, and they instantly responded asking for his contact info. They then overnighted him a new set of pedals no questions asked, and included some free Asetek merch. I think these products are a bit overkill and over complicated, but that great customer service definitely makes these products way more attractive
I gotta admit, that's a clean design... So easy to adjust on the fly.
Very easy!
Great review Carl. Will be high on my list of pedals on my next rig. I really like the company ethos.
I really dig the way they look. Super clean
Great review - straight to the important stuff.
Really nice video and review. Going from the Fanatec V3’s to these? Thoughts or are they too similar?
I'm still using my V3's, whilst these are better build quality they add nothing from a driving point of view IMO.
@@KarlGosling are you joking? Boosted media tested them versus Invicta and told you get 95% of invictas brake feeling, and invictas to some is better than HE ultimates, and you tell it is the same as V3 fanatecs :))) come on man…
@@KarlGosling thanks for the response. My V3’s have been great especially since I put the BPK on. I guess the true upgrade would going with the Invictas or hydraulics
@@amigoz3201 i have to agree with u. Only think i can imagine is when u are light footed. Personaly i realy easy max-out the loadcell on my fanatec, even set to 100% in software. I need a heavyer loadcell and i think the forte is ideal for me
Just got my gt omega prime thanks for the code. It was £710 with your code it was £675
A decent saving, enjoy mate! 🙂
Put your code on my Titan and ART monitor stand too mate, thanks for saving me a few Zennies (Black Tiger reference, remember that one in the arcades?)
GT Omega shipping in Oz is bloody fantastic. Two day shipping! So impressed with the quality for the price!
Thanks for all the great reviews!
Any chance you’ll be reviewing the Moza SR-P pedals??
I've had no contact from Moza since my review of their CRP Pedals and R16 base.. I don't think they liked my honesty! lol
@@KarlGosling fair enough! Appreciate the reply!
Great review Karl! Have you by any chance tried the Venym Atrax pedals that you can compare both?
I have not mate no sorry.
What about a review of the Tony Kanann Asetek pedals avaliable at MicroCenter for $199
They are just these pedals but with a green accent mate.
Did you end up selling your invicta pedals? I noticed they were on eBay.
Hmmm this is not the two stage on the Fortes. Stage one is the big rubber. Stage 2 is the second ring shaped elastomer.
Sorry what do you mean mate, there is only one elastomer and no rubbers? If you mean the end caps, they are hard plastic.
Correct. The first stage is all the way until the mechanical stop on the collar. The travel is decided by the elastomer. The second stage is the small rubber ring on the knob collar, where the can push further and get almost the feeling as the THORP system.
Anyone know if this is compatible with the prime light? I just ordered that rig but now I believe it does not fit old pedal tray 😭
Great review, thank you.
Karl... Thanks for this review... I'm currently using a Playseat Challenge due to room restrictions (tiny bedroom). I'm using the Moza SRP pedals, as they're soft and stable on the Playseat... In your opinion, on the lightest setting with the Forte's, would they be usable with the Playseat? As I'm looking to upgrade. Also considering the Fanatec v3's. Thank you!! :)
yes you could use them, you'd just have to play around with the hardness and maybe calibrate the pressure light too.
Gotta ask, is it possible to get a Thrustmaster T300 review, comparable to the G29 maybe? Either way, keep up the awesome vids!
T300 is a great upgrade from a G29 mate, I'll try to pick one up for review.
Karl is a busy boy, with sim accessory sources lined up, providing review samples.
How many would drop out if he ranked price/performance?
I do rate price versus performance, in this video (and almost every video) I say most high end sim racing equipment is way overpriced on many occasions saying that we get our pants pulled down! Lol
Daaaaaang Karl and Moza are at war!
Hi Karl, would the Podium Racing Wheel F1 work with the Gt Omega Art or the Gt Omega Titan ?
Very nice looking set of pedals nice over view.
your braking foot is in the air ,surely it isnt that high ? if your heel was on the plate it looks like it would be nearly impossible to hit 100%
Actually easier to reach 100% if you lift your foot off the pedal plate a little bit
You gotta have feet of steel to break in socks only
