When ever you hear someone saying I, ME, US, WE understood the Quran like this or like that then know that this is where the misguidance is rooted, because that's like saying I know better than the messenger, his companions and the rightly guided first 3 generations of the Salaf. And the main reasons why you get these Quran only Muslims is because they are troubled by some Hadiths so instead of understanding thry reject it.

    • @fellowcruz
      @fellowcruz 7 лет назад +141

Fallacy in your reply: Shia say we follow the quran, messenger, companion, salaf and they follow their version of Islam. Sunni says they follow all this as well. The only common thing between both of them is Quran. Rest is all interpretation.
It is one thing to take guidance from early written arabic books to find the meaning of certain words or may be context of some old stories. Its another thing all together to CREATE a whole religion out of hadiths which a lot of salafi muslims are trying to do.
Following quran only makes much more sense as it does not come with a baggage of 'fallible human made interpretations/opinions'. Its just clear cut - This is what Allah has asked humans, and this is what one should do.
Hadiths are troubling as mostly salafi muslims are trying to shove hadiths rather than quran and quran is basically in the background. Allah says in the quran that it is complete book. Why need external sources for its understanding?

Fee Crux there's a lot of historical background knowledge and other stuff needed to interpret the Quran soundly. By following Quran only I'm assuming you throw this all out? God made it clear that certain people and generations understand the Quran better than others, so does it not make sense to look at it through their lense rather than your own?

    • @wr2899

In order to understand the Quran, the most important thing is to learn Arabic root words and then of course the Arabic grammar. Then while reading the Quran in Arabic we get an understanding of the tone and the flow of it. The more we read it the more God makes it clear for us, which in return allows us through our research of hadiths to distinguish what is true from what is false.

  • @tkassim

The prophet (pbuh) warned us against them in a hadith (which they heretically deny as one would expect):
“Soon there will come a time that a man will be reclining on his pillow, and when one of my hadiths is narrated he will say: ‘The Book of Allah is (sufficient) between us and you. Whatever it states is permissible, we will take as permissible, and whatever it states is forbidden, we will take as forbidden.’ Verily, whatever the Messenger of Allah has forbidden is like that which Allah has forbidden.” (Reported by Ahmad, Abu Daawood, Ibn Maajah and at-Tirmidhee, who declared it hasan. Al-Albaanee declared it saheeh in Saheehul-Jaami’ (no.8186))

  • @MiloBoz
    @MiloBoz 7 лет назад +38

The biggest proof against the Quranist narrative is that the Quran itself refers us outside of the Quran for judgement on differences of opinion. Two verses from the Qur'an which put his argument to rest:
O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger (ie. Quran and Sunnah), if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result. (4:59)
Nor does he speak from [his own] inclination. (53:3)
If the Quran is all we take knowledge from, then why does it refer to the prophet and Islamic authorities for judgement? And why does it say that the prophets' speech is not his own inclination?

even though brother Muhammad is using the linguistics of the Qur'an, the other guy keeps accusing him of using the hadith as his basis for interpreting it that way. The fact of the matter is, his twisting of the Arabic grammar, his insistence on "ignoring the language", using verses that us a form as the word "hadith" in a totally different context, all stems from the fact that he, himself, is using his rejection of the hadith as his basis for interpreting the Qur'an.

So do they pray 3 times a day and not 5?

The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Verily I have been given the Qur’an and something like it with it. Soon a man who has eaten his fill, resting on his couch, will say : ‘You must follow this Qur’an; whatever you find in it as permissible, then regard it as permissible, and whatever you find in it as prohibited, then regard it as prohibited. Verily, whatever the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) has prohibited is like that which Allah has prohibited.”
It was narrated by at-Tirmidhi (2664) who said: It is hasan ghareeb with this isnaad. It was classed as hasan by al-Albaani in as-Silsilah as-Saheehah (2870)

Islam means to worship Allah as One and obey the messenger of the time. The previous nations before believed in Allah but disobeyed their prophet and therefore were destroyed. The only way to worship Allah the right way is to follow the Messenger SAW which has been preserved through the authentic ahadith--it is a miracle from Allah that only the Muslims have this. To go with the Quran alone you will just go into your own desires and understanding. Without the Sunnah we don't know HOW to make wudu', to pray, fast, perform hajj, and this is where innovations start and all innovations lead to misguidance and finally the Hellfire.

I think the problem is this brother doesn't understand Quranic Arabic therefore doesn't have a clear meaning or understanding of the verses of the holy Quran. we have hadiths to understand and learn the prophets actions and sayings so we can try to do the same and live the way our Prophet lived. hadiths r trusted source of information from the companions who witnessed the actions of the prophet and seen and heard by many of the companions. why does this brother reject helpful information about how the prophet lived and spoke. the hadiths teach as many things about living as a muslim in more detail. also this brother debating brother Hijab prays 3times a day when Islam teaches us to pray 5times a day which all scholars and billions of the muslim ummah world pray the same 5times a day. does he feel he knows better than the muslim ummah and scholars who study the Quran in great detail for many many years who are also very well educated and speak the Quranic Arabic were as this brother doesn't even speak Arabic.. I hope our creator guides this brother and all of us to the right path and gives us the knowledge to practise Islam in the right way and in the way that pleases our creator inshaAllah

1450 years every Muslim believed in ahadith , no One believed in the Quran alone, so basically the Prophet his companions didnt do the job> conveying True understanding of islam. when the Prophet or his Companions did taught that, why there was no Single Muslim who believed in this Way!?

First few minutes in futile discussion- How do we know about Sanskrit, old english, french, german etc? We dont need any hadiths for them. The knowledge is passed down through generation to generation.

This is my first time commenting so don't hate lol. Br Muhammad/Ali Dawah (may Allah have mercy on you both) I have been watching your vids for a while now and think your doin well in dawah, however based on fatwas from scholar (salaf and contemporaries) you both need to create vids clarifying your aqeedah fully before anyone can take any real knowledge from you, I'm assuming Ali Dawah is Athari as he affilates with Haitham al Haddad but Br.Mohammed I've heard you quote al ghazali numerous times who before repenting was an ashari (even tho abu hasan ashari ended up changing aqeedah to the way of ibn Hanbal RA I have heard you quote ibn taymiyah(RA) so I don't know plz clarify your aqeedah especially in the attributes of Allah (swt).

Finally, I see you were using the "kalam" argument against an atheist in the recent video on scdawahchannel, if you do frequently use kalam, this was the way of the Jahmiyyah, Mutazila etc and according to all the Salaf as Salih you have severly erred eg::IMAM AHMAD IBN HANBAL
Imam Ahmad said: "Verily a person
of kalaam will never succeed, ever. And you will never see anyone looking into
kalaam, except that there is corruption in his heart.” (Ibn Abdu’l-Barr, Jaami
    Bayaanu’l-Ilm wa Fadlihi, 2/95)
Ibn Ahmad Ibn Hanbal said: “My father
    wrote to Abu’l-Hasan Ubayd-Allah Ibn Yahya Ibn Khaqan at-Turki al-Baghdadi: I am
not a person of kalaam, nor do I hold the view of kalaam in anything from this,
except what is found in the Book of Allah and the hadith of RasulAllah (saw). So
as for other than that, then speaking about it is not praiseworthy.” (al-Harawi,
    Dhammu’l-Kalaam, baa/216/qaaf)
    Musa Ibn Abd-Allah at-Tarsusi said: “I
heard Ahmad Ibn Hanbal saying: Do not sit with the people of kalaam, even if
they are defending the Sunnah.” (Ibnu’l-Jawzi, Manaqibu’l-Imam Ahmad,
    205)
Abu’l-Haarith as-Siyaagh said: “Whoever loves kalaam, then it will
not come out from his heart, and you will not see a person of kalaam
    succeeding.” (Ibn Battah, al-Ibaanah, 2/539)
Imam Ahmad said: "If you see a man loving
kalaam, then warn against him.” (Ibn Battah, al-Ibaanah, 2/540)
    IMAM SHAFI'I
Ar-Rabi Ibn Sulayman said: “I heard
ash-Shaafi’i saying: If a man were to advise another with his books of
knowledge, and amongst them were books containing kalaam, then no advice can be
contained in their, because kalaam is not from knowledge.” (al-Harawi,
    Dhammu’l-Kalaam, qaaf/213; adh-Dhahabi, as-Siyar, 10/30)
    Hasan
az-Za'faraani said: “I heard ash-Shaafi’i saying: I have not debated with anyone
using kalaam except once, and I seek forgiveness from Allah for that.”
    (al-Harawi, Dhammu’l-Kalaam, qaaf/213; adh-Dhahabi, as-Siyar,
    10/30)
A-Rabi Ibn Sulayman said: “ash-Shaafi’i said: If I wanted to, I
could have written a large book against every opponent. However, kalaam is not
from my nature, and I do not like that anything from it should be attributed to
    me.” (al-Harawi, Dhammu’l-Kalaam, qaaf 1215)
    Yunus
al-Misri said: “ash-Shaafi’i said: It is better for a man to spend his whole
life doing whatever Allah has prohibited -besides Shirk with Allah- rather than
spending his whole life involved in kalaam.” (Ibn Abi Hatim,
    Manaaqibush-Shaafi'i, 182)
    IMAM
    MALIK
Abd-Allah Ibn Naafi said: "I heard Malik saying: Even if a man
commits all of the major sins, except for Shirk (association) with Allah, then
he returns from these desires and innovations, and he mentioned kalaam, he
    enters Paradise." (Abu Nu'aym, al-Hilyah, 6/325)
    Ishaq Ibn Isa (Ibn Najih
al-Baghdadi) said: "Malik said: Whoever seeks the religion through kalaam will
deviate, and whosoever seeks wealth through quantity will become bankrupt, and
whosoever seeks strange hadith becomes a liar." (Harawi, Dhammu'l-Kalaam,
    qaaf/173/alif)
Ishaq Ibn Isa said: "I heard Malik Ibn Anas censuring
argumentation in the religion and saying: Is to be the case that every time
someone comes who can argue better than another that we are to abandon what
Jibril brought to Muhammad (saw) because of his argument?" (Khatib, Sharaf
    Ashaabu'l-Hadith, 5; Lalika'i, Sharh Usoulu'l-I'tiqaad, #
    293)
Ashab Ibn Abdu'l-Aziz said: "I heard Malik saying: Beware
of the innovations. It was said: O Abaa Abd-Allah, what are the innovations? He
said: It is the people of innovation who speak about the Names of Allah and His
Attributes and His Speech and His Knowledge and His Power; and they do not
remain silent about that which the Companions and the tabi'in, and those who
followed them in goodness remained silent." (Harawi, Dhammu'l-Kalaam,
    qaaf/17/alif)
    Muhammad Ibn
Ahmad Ibn Jawiz Mindaad al-Misri al-Maliki said: "It is not permissible to rent
anything from the books of the people of desires and innovations. According to
our companions, they are the books of the people of kalaam from the Mu'tazilah
and other than them, and all licenses concerning that must be dissolved."
(Muhammad Ibn Ahmad Ibn Jawiz Mindaad al-Misri al-Maliki, al-Khilaaf, The Book
of Salaries; Ibn Abdu'l-Barr, Jaami Bayaanu'l- Ilm wa Fadlihi,
    416-417)
    IMAM ABU
    HANEEFAH
Imam Abu Hanifah said: "The people of desires in
al-Basra are many, and I entered it twenty odd times, sometimes I stayed there
for a year or more, or less, under the impression that the science of kalaam
(rhetoric) was the greatest of sciences." (al-Kurdi, Manaaqib Abi Hanifah,
    137)
Imam Abu Hanifah said: "I used to look into kalaam, to the extent
that I became highly-skilled in it, fingers were pointed at me in regards to it.
And I used to sit close to the circle of Hammaad Ibn Abi Sulayman. So a woman
came to me, so she said: A man has a slave-woman, he wishes to set her free
according to the Sunnah, how should he set her free? So I did not know what to
say, so I commanded her to ask Hammaad, then she must return and inform me. So
she asked Hammaad, so he said: He should set her free whilst she is free from
menstrual periods, and complete the freeing process, then leave her until she
has gone through two menstrual cycles. So when she has performed ghusl (ritual
bathing), then she becomes permissible for him to marry. So she returned to me,
so I said: I have no need for kalaam, and I took my shoes, so I sat with
    Hammaad." (Tarikh al-Baghdad, 13/333)
Imam Abu Hanifah said: "May Allah
curse Amr Ibn Ubaydah, for verily he opened up for the people a path to kalaam
in that which does not benefit them in terms of kalaam." (al-Harawi,
    Dhammu'l-Kalaam, 2831)
A man asked him saying: "What do you say about the
kalaam that he relates to the people about the non-essential characteristics
(al-a'raad) and the bodies (al-ajsaam)? So he said: These are philosophical
statements. Stick to the athar (narration), and the path of the Salaf and beware
of all newly invented affairs, for verily they are innovations."
    (Dhammu'l-Kalaam, 194)
Hammaad Ibn Abi Hanifah said: "My father -may
Allah have mercy upon him- entered upon me one day, and with me were a group
from the people of kalaam, and we were arguing at a door. So when I heard him
approaching the house, I went out to him. So he said to me: O Hammaad! Who is
with you? I said: So and so, and so and so, such and such, and such and such,
and I named to him those who were with me. So he said to me: O Hammaad! Leave
alone al-kalaam (theological rhetoric). And my father was not a man who mixed
things up, nor was he from amongst those people who commanded something, then
prohibited it. So I said to him: O father! Did you not used to command me with
it? He said: Yes! O son of mine! And today I prohibit you from it. I said: And
why is that? So he said: O my son! Verily these retarded ones are from the
people of kalaam, from amongst those who you will see that they used to be upon
one word and one religion, until shaytan came between them. So now you find
amongst them enmity and differing, so be upon clarity..." (al-Makki, Manaaqib
    Abi Hanifah, 183-184)
Abu Hanifah said to Abu Yusuf: "Beware of speaking
to the common-folk about the foundations of the religion by way of kalaam, since
they blindly follow you, so they will become pre-occupied with that." (al-Makki,
Manaaqib Abi Hanifah, 373)I'm just getting the message of the salaf across, this is by no means a refutation just advice, I believe you are clearly more knowledgeable than me and hope someone if not you replies.

I'm just saying because i think somebody who can keep their cool should clear up and answer all his falsehood and misconceptions.

This is what happens you think you have studied the Quran, this guy hasn't studied not even 0.0000000000000000........1 recurring hahaha, he is giving his own interpretation.
Reciting the Quran whether you understand it or not is rewarding in tenfolds per letter you read, understand is compulsory but he said that verse talking about those coming drunk to Salah is referring to those who dont understand the Quran, it does not eman that at all, he gave his own interpretation hence why he is delusion. How can you reject hadith? Nadhubillah

Mohammed Khan the Arabic Quran makes no sense. You need translations. Also the Quran makes no sense without hadiths.
So the bible is way more authentic than the Quran

Pentecostal Missionary I don't need translations. I know Arabic. So your argument is based on the assumption that we need translations is a completely flawed argument.
You Christians cannot even agree on the Bible, having different versions.
Your Priests and scholars have changed the word of God to suit their desires.
Follow the true way of Jesus by worshipping one God only, which till this day is still found in the Bible
Never did he ask us to worship him.

The arabic quran doesnt make sense without hadiths, You have 100,00's of hadiths and they all contradict. So we still win. The quran makes no sense. The bible is the truth. Evan allah says to go to the bible. But you dont want to

      no to the above!
all prophets came with one message to worship ONE TRUE GOD, NOT TRINTY, !
Jews worship one true God same as Muslims NOT TRIUNE GOD HEAD!
