- Hello everyone, so in this video you will find information about Types of Diaphragmatic Breathing which are -relaxed diaphragmatic breathing and deep diaphragmatic breathing.
Diaphragmatic breathing is given to decrease blood pressure, anxiety, stress, depression, fear, pain and to increase oxygen levels,correct breathing pattern,relax muscles, memory and sustain attention.

Why to put hand on chest and upper abdomen? Any specific reason
As I already explained in the video one hand is on upper chest to see if patient is using his accessory muscles or not and another hand which is placed on upper abdomen to check if patient is using his diaphragm muscle, so we have to tell the patient not to perform any upper chest movement that means NO movement of hand and once patient master this technique patient can remove his hands
