FASTTAZ101 Zachs a good dude, if yall known my dude 650ib for as long as I have you would know that when 650ib was test riding the H2 for the first time THIS is the Zach he was talking about :). You're welcome.
You just earned your self a new subscriber... great video good commentary and held my interest the whole time.. nice BMW I've always wanted one but couldn't afford one lol
That was fun to watch the servicing on a new bike. Your BMW bike is a beautiful machine. The electronics are amazing. I ride a 1982 Suzuki GS1100G and no electronics, no fuel injection, no computer. Generations apart in technology. Oil, helping with the burn. lol
Another great episode fiddy loving this build series you really did make me laugh 😂 when you were trying to get the drain plug out 😂😂😂😂 bikes coming along very nicely can't wait for the next episode your good buddy from the uk 🇬🇧 Adam 👊
BIKE GEAR MOTOVLOG if you watched his previous videos he did while working on the bike, by the looks of it he didn't know much about the mechanics of the bike and wanted reassurance from the mechanic . I mean working on a bike is straight forward but he's learning like the rest of us
Hey there, I totally admire your passion for the superbikes and Zach as a very good tech. I hate to come up with this silly remark but is for the safety of the superbikes. When you guys safety wire the oil filter, secure it on the other side from the position of the bolt of the filter's clamp. If you like to keep the wire on the left side, at least flip the filter's clamp with the bolt up, or turn it about 180 deg. The direction I said will lock the filter clockwise so that filter will never come out loose. The direction you secured the filter's clamp was counter-clockwise and that filter will have a (slightly) chance to come loose (at least up to a locking point where the safety wire will become really useful). As a track tech inspector I've seen that before and I had to turn over the riders to secure that filter clockwise. Really sorry for my remark on such a nice video and total respect for Zach, but is for the sake of safety. For all the other viewers: as a race tech I can say that Zach is a top notch tech, my full respect and you guys do not think he is the other way due to my remark. We all still humans.
WOW!!! With the "Pesky" rev limit deactivated, that bike is really gonna fly! LOL I wonder how many people knew you could have the rev limit on a BMW S1000RR deactivated after the 1st service of owning it. I learn something new every time I watch 650ib.
I realize this is a 2017 video but I'm coming in late to the BMW world on my new/old stock 2018 S1000R but I REALLY appreciate the info on what to expect on that first service. Thanks, ib.
Ya, I'm getting 2019 RR this week so it's basically same bike. Was curious what was involved and was happy to find this video. If only I could hang in the back with the techs and help with oil change haha
The purpose of safety wire is to keep the item from being able to back out and loosen up. So it should have been have been pulling down on the filter and not up.remember righty tighty lefty loosey. Flip the clamp to the top of the filter and it will be GTG.
Why put a large clamp around the Oil filter? If it is going to spin it will spin even with the clamp around it. It seems there is no point to doing this and I've never seen or heard of such a thing. Is this to just add cost to the service ?
650ib you should make a video about getting notification from all your videos, I know you tube has make it hard for letting people know about your videos, now we have to click on the bell and set it up to always, other wise we don't get notify of when you post.
Painful watching you try to wrench on a bike. So insecure. Pretty sad. You are a good rider and commentator though. You and that Campisi guy should team up. Sorry, just keeping it real.
Pistol Pete lol get what you want first. There's always more money to spend and plenty more bikes out there. I own 3 super bikes right now and plan to buy either the s1000rr or 2018 cbr 1000 if they fixed the transmission issue.
Zach is a beast
Indeed he is!
Wish Zach lived in Southern California. He would be the only person that would work on my bike.
He's the only one that touches my s1000rr!! The very best!
EcoboostKevin he's the only person that lays a finger in mine too
FASTTAZ101 Zachs a good dude, if yall known my dude 650ib for as long as I have you would know that when 650ib was test riding the H2 for the first time THIS is the Zach he was talking about :). You're welcome.
This shit funny as fuck when he was trying to drain the oil lol
I really like this Zach guy. Great attitude, knows what he's doing and all...wud definitely look him up if he were anywhere near me. Good going 650ib
Very good feeling knowing you've applied the same steps taken as Zach on your own S1000RR 🔥🤘
Indeed
Always a pleasure to watch a professional at work thanks.
Another great video.
Waiting for the series.
Congrats.
15:50
Dude drops something and is like "Damn am I on camera? Yup."
You just earned your self a new subscriber... great video good commentary and held my interest the whole time.. nice BMW I've always wanted one but couldn't afford one lol
Zach's got it easy on your 1st service, my 2017 S1000RR needed a new engine after the first service. Factory defect.

Now that what you call thorough 1st service!!
Great video. Very informative. Wish Zack lived in my neighborhood to service my 2012 ! Keep them vids coming.
Another great episode fiddy loving this build series you really did make me laugh 😂 when you were trying to get the drain plug out 😂😂😂😂 bikes coming along very nicely can't wait for the next episode your good buddy from the uk 🇬🇧 Adam 👊

Steven Hopkins “tail”
Nice build going on. Interesting punch used before drilling. Any chance you could get a closer picture or brand of it?
what software and what kind of cable is that to connect to the motorbike?
That mechanic knows his stuff
Zack has patience of saint.😂😂😂

Can't help but hear the Pigeons constantly mating in the background of the shop.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Come on Ib! 🤣🤣🤣 that was painful good buddy!
Is the oil me supposed to be up to the top line?
Why put a large clamp around the Oil filter? If it is going to spin it will spin even with the clamp around it. It seems there is no point to doing this and I've never seen or heard of such a thing. Is this to just add cost to the service ?
Would u rather have like 10. Little burns or just 1 big one
15:48 The service dude in the background, "Fuck man is this going on youtube?"
Is this a premium package or the standard version
whats the price for the first service
Basically 650ib needs to take off the long sleeve and have a longer thinner oil pan to catch it so he has more clearance.
How much for severance
Awesome mechanic...he's got his shit together. He should be on BMW's pit crew
I love maintenance and working on my own bikes I don’t know if I could do it for a living though.
@ 22:08 - 36psi in the rear tire?

17:21 Safety wire an oil filter. I didn't know you could do that.
650ib you should make a video about getting notification from all your videos, I know you tube has make it hard for letting people know about your videos, now we have to click on the bell and set it up to always, other wise we don't get notify of when you post.
This is why we go to Zach, man is amazing. End of story.
Was it nice?
22:42 Cool "Moto Millions" sock.
14:49 The S1000RR have a little more horse power than your John Deere lawn mower. LOL 300 mile oil change and the oil still looks good to me.
