.never work properly unless you have the countwheel attached. It's a Hubert Herr right?
They are somewhat of a fumble indeed.

Does it have the wire that runs across the top of the count lever to make counnt lever stay down after striking?

I decided to buy another used movement since this one was adjusted so much.

The problem you're experiencing is caused by wear on either the cam itself or the point at the end of the brass lever that rides the cam, or both. When the strike goes into warning, the cam moves a little and the point on the brass lever starts to be held up by the cam. It is held up, along with the stop detent on the end of the lever. If the tip of the brass lever is worn enough, as it rides the cam, it will cause the stop detent to be low enough to stop the strike after just one turn of the cam. The cam itself may also be worn, causing the same problem. You may have to add to the point of the brass lever (the part that rides the cam). ruclips.net/video/nPCX9c20y6E/видео.html ruclips.net/video/nPCX9c20y6E/видео.html ruclips.net/video/nPCX9c20y6E/видео.html ruclips.net/video/nPCX9c20y6E/видео.html To make a new cam: ruclips.net/video/7IAS5U8goJM/видео.html

Appreciate the explanation and links to isolate the problem. I started to video the movement in Slow motion to capture any events that appear strange.

where is the Locking disc on the Back Plate? Its missing? So this Movement never strikes the correct Hour Time. This bent wire with the flattened end its sticking out of the top left. This is a part of the mechanism that engages the locking disc.

I didn't have it installed at that time, but even with it installed still would only strike on the hour but not on the half hour.

The lever looks like it's too close to the edge of the cam. Have you tried adjusting the cam so the lever sits on the middle of the flat spot in the stopped position? I've rehauled several of these movements and that always worked for me. I think I even had this same issue on one of them.

Yes, I made sure that the flat of the snale was touching the arm. Thanks!

Were you able to get it all timed properly? I'll be working on a similar movement here soon, and am willing to film a short video demonstrating the proper timing for you.
