- Hey guys, I promised you to share what I shopped in Stockholm, so here we go!
Coming from Austria, I could make quite good bargains when shopping in Sweden which is quite as Europeans are not so lucky when it comes to tax refunds. When buying from Swedish brands the price is usually a bit lower and then the currency exchange rate comes on top which was in my favor as the Euro is a bit stronger.
The shopping experience was lovely, very nice SAs, especially at Hermès, beautiful little old town perfect for strolling around, and with NK there is also a nice department store with a great selection. I brought back home a Totême set that has been on my wishlist for quite a time (sort of my kind of souvenir), a little something from Hermès, and a piece from the Mugler x H&M collab that just launched the day we arrived. Are you actively trying to get a Birkin or Kelly in Vienna? :) How does „the game“ work here?
I asked a few times, but I've always been told the waitlists are full. Currently, there is only a temporary boutique as the store is being renovated, so it seems to be even harder to get a quota bag. The SAs told me that when the new boutique opens there will be a high stock of bags, but we'll see. 🤞🏼 I'm not the biggest Hermès shopper though as I'm not trying to increase my chances by buying random stuff I don't actually like. So honestly, I have no clue how it really works, if I'll ever find out, I'll report it here 😄
@@hauteatheart haha thank you! I‘m planning on getting a Kelly belt soon-ish too (because I actually love the look), then I may just take the opportunity and ask. But I‘ll definitely wait for the new store to open for that :) I don’t need a bag super urgently but at some point I know I would like to own one!
