- First Kashmiri Musical Concert in USA sponsored by Funkar International. Bilal, Irfan, Mehmeet, George Lawler and Habib Wardak.
There were six performance in USA, Maryland, DC, Texas and California. This is a recording from Maryland concert.
All these comments against Mehmeet are horrendous. Whatever it is; it’s between her and her God. Stop being judgmental. We Kashmiri people love bringing down each other and honestly it doesn’t benefit anyone; so let’s put a full stop to it.

great music. soothing to the soul. well done. does anyone know the 2nd instrumental that bilal was playing on flute. It is at 1:43:49. i recognized one as "katyu chukh nund banye" but can't figure out the 2nd one.

this is unique to sufi Kashmir which alas! is virtually extinct these days

I too have a good quality of voice but unfortunately I didn't get any chance to utilise it for our kashimiri culture.
