    In this video, we discussed with Mouin Ranbani about his thoughts on the ongoing events in Gaza. We asked Mouin about the cease fire plan proposed by the Biden administration. We also asked him about the situation in Israel-Lebanon border. Mouin also commented on whether non violence is the only strategy of resistance available to the Palestinians. We also discussed the roles and responsibilities of the internationalcommunity, including pro Israeli government like that of the US and Modi in India. Mouin discussed the significance of the struggle for Palestinian freedom and its links with democratic movements across the world, including that of the Global South.

    Guys, we want to work full-time on this, but our financial woes keep us pushing away. If your wallet allows please drop us some support. We prefer the PayPal method since we don't lose half of the money, but you can also give us a super chat. If you are a large donor, we would obviously get in touch with you to give something back if we can. But if you can't no worries. Please like, share, and subscribe. That means a lot already

      I do appreciate your truthfulness Mr Rabbani. I wonder if you could put me in contact with someone who could take up my cause. I must use scripture to tell truth. Perhaps you are not religious that is okay with me. However if you would give me some of your consideration I have been spoken to by a person chosen from heaven and I must make known what the writings of the Prophets reveal. Christianity fail to take note of the writings pertaining to the fact that the Palestinians are descendants of Abraham by his wife Keturah who bore six sons to our Patriarch as documented in Genesis 25:1-3. Also 1 Chronicles 2:55 being descendants in Abraham and Keturah's linage mentioning the Kenites by Rechab along with others..
      I pray you or someone will recognise how important these facts are. Moses was married to one of Arab descendants of Abraham and Keturah. Her name was Zipporah who bore two sons called Eliezer and Gershom Exodus 2:22 and Exodus 18:3, 4 also 1 Chronicles 26:24-26.
      Jeremiah 35:8-19, was instructed to tell the descendants of Rechab they are blessed by our Elohim. I am a descendant of Aaron. I learned this when our Elohim chose a person from heaven to tell me my Elohim would instruct me and teach me bible scripture. I can reveal many prophesies as they have been fulfilled including the second coming of Christ.
      You might not accept these truths but I need to make this known to very important people. I would speak with President Netanyahu or any Israelite or President Biden or any other President. I will stand up and make known prophesy and judgment that will come upon anyone who does not repent of all that bloodshed and all the wars and egregious plans for the whole of humanity by WEF who I would be prepared to speak with. Perhaps even black rock globalists. Anyone. I need to give a message from the Most High Elohim Yahveh or Yahuveh-Nissi-Yireh being the name I remember being told and hope my recollection is correct. That whole name refers to the Battle of the Great Day of God the Almighty at Mount Megiddo.

    Mouin Rabbani has a refreshingly nuanced view of these issues. Always a pleasure to listen. I just want to point out that Israel has failed to 'wipe out Hamas' by various means for over two decades now. Given that fact, the old threat of continuing to attempt to wipe out Hamas should *not be utilized* to delay acceptance of the cease-fire formula. Women and children of Gaza are currently starving to death and a phase 1 pause in the killing would allow aid to flow. That should be the priority. Seeking some pie in the sky ultimate solution or unobtainable "guarantee" is a great way to use up the current international window of opportunity to take the *first step* toward peace. Similarly, the exchange of hostages/prisoners can not wait for the establishment of a *new leadership on either or any side* of the conflict. American attention in particular will soon shift to domestic politics and opportunity for forward motion will be lost soon. Just sayin...

    Thanks, IGL, for bringing the esteemed Mouin Rabbani's objective exposition of the Palestinian plight. I particularly appreciate his view that the intrinsic moral right of the oppressed to engage in armed resistance should never be renounced. In my opinion, Arafat's renunciation of Palestinian armed resistance was the height of historical ignorance that the US is wholly untrustworthy and nefarious in its "foreign policy" and condemned Palestinians to decades of destruction. His observation that it is not for external players to determine Palestinian internal governance is spot on. I would appreciate a further interview that addresses differences among internal Palestinian political and military forces including areas of agreement and disagreement and possible consensus. It appears that Russia and China are working with Hamas and Fatah to that end.

      He actually said zionism itself was antithetical to judaism. Within Palestine, including Hamas' own charter, they do not condemn jews or Jewish religion but zionism. There have, for thousands of years, been Jewish and Muslim Palestinians, peace. In India, my Muslim and Hindu family lived, worked and played side by side until R wing nationalists fascist shift. I won't set foot in India again because of it.

      @kindGSL 3 месяца назад +3

      @@hunger4jsutice I have a 100% American perspective. My EXPERIENCE as a non Jewish, Christian or Muslim American is that most Jews support Israel in both the US and in Israel. I looked up the polls and I check the news. The ones saying this is not about their religion seem to be the small minority. I have been closely watching most of the topical Americans for decades so I know who they are, people like Kaiti Halper, Arron Mate and many others.
      I notice their religious arguments are basically nonexistent. They just keep asserting this 'fact' for us to swallow whole. I'm not convinced. I like to study religions. I also feel perfectly qualified to make moral judgements about them. I judge religions by the people they produce. Based on that, and some of its other unsavory details, I think this religion is just awful.

    • @AlainPaulikevitch
      @AlainPaulikevitch 3 месяца назад +1

      I am not sure how the current replies relate to what i have said. I was only pointing out that the non violent position of Norman Finklestein is outdated, he now says he was mistaken and that non violence has proven to be a non viable option. Regarding jewish support for israel there is no surprise there, however one should be careful not to attribute this to the religion itself but rather to a state of massive brainwashing that led to a strong sectarian identification which supercedes any other consideration or rational argument.

    34:30 I think this cuts to the heart of the issue. The temporary entity doesn't target Lebanese civilians in this war because they understand that Hezbollah has the ability to respond in kind, which must lead one to the conclusion that they are attacking gazan civilians because the temporary entity doesnt believe the gazan resistance can respond in kind. Seems to me the only way to keep Palestinians safe is to arm them with weapons capable of keeping deterrence. Israel wouldnt have responded to 7 October the way they did if they thought the resistance could do unto them what they have done unto the Palestinians.

    Never in the history of mankind has a people achieved liberation and self determination without armed resistance. The idea that if the Palestinian people dropped arms and sang "we should overcome" could end the occupation is ridiculous.
    Remember that in the west bank Arafat and his party decided to drop armed resistance against the zionist occupation forces. Since they made that stupid decision Israel has taken more land, built more settlements, killed more civilians and have the best collaboration government you could ask for. Arafat and his party really screwed up with that decision to drop armed resistance

    Nice discussion. To the interviewer regarding Hamas; you may not be aware of the webinar series on the "The Just World Educational" channel and website on who are Hamas as most in the West don't have a clue and many even in Western Asia may not know a great deal about apart from stereotypes. There are five webinars in the series. In fact the fourth one is a discussion with your guest on your show here as he is one of the world experts on Hamas. The interviewer sort of implied that Hamas wants to be viewed as the legitimate authority of Palestine, I believe that they do not want this and are in agreement with your guest but as always interactions between the different groups are not that straightforward and there is some history.
