- this is a bit strange for me since I don't do Tally Hall news. I think this is less Tally Hall news and more speculation.
I hope this video is useful and I pray I got it all accurate. We will be finding out who's doing sonic lunch on Wednesday at 11:00 pm USA time. I can't wait and I have my hopes. what a time to be a Tally Hall fan

Mathew played Misery Fell, and brought attention to the fact that it was written by Andrew and performed by Rob and Joe, so I'm thinking that whatever it is it features all 3 of them.
My thoughts exactly. The frequent mentions of the name Joe, that specific recording being chosen and the fact that (ignoring Bora) those three have the most pointing towards them being the mystery member(s) makes me think it could be the three of them performing for sonic lunch? Like Rob tried to make it to sonic lunch in 2016 and the other two have made it there to perform! They're also one of my favourite trios as they're made up of members in two of my favourite duos. Only issue with this theory is that based upon what we know those are three have the most strained relationship. It's not impossible that they sorted it out in private and I pray they did but you know
Edit: he also said that nothing is ever what it seems when making music which could suggest something we aren't expecting will happen. We've all ruled out Joe and we've ruled out him maintaining his relationship so possibly that's what it meant. I'm grasping at straws here tbh

Two wuv and greener aren't, two wuv being sung by Zubin and written by Andrew while greener is Rob for both. Haiku is what he's referencing by writing haiku and though it's written and led by Rob, Joe has verses including the iconic "he wrote a haiku for you" (Zubin only harmonises in that song so I won't count him). You definitely have a point! That might just be because he wrote/sang most of the TH songs but if the word "mind" has something to do with TME then referencing HP2, a Joe project, would be quite random even if it's a famous one.

I would favor if it were Zubin, because not only does he have the best voice but his voice was kind of underused in the albums. It’s not very likely that it’s his album since he is a doctor and that takes a lot of work so I’m betting on Andrew or Rob.

it’s probably for the best if joe isn’t the one performing at sonic lunch. knowing how a majority of tally hall enjoyers are now, they’d probably harass him because of what happened in august

Yeah, if he is performing I pray to God it's not alone. If another member is there with him it might discourage people/make it harder to harass. I do worry what will happen. We saw Joe suffer on stage back in 2011 so if people were actively mistreating him on stage I can't imagine what we could get in response. Heck, this fandom Tally Hall attract makes it worse. He's a conventionally attractive man that already gets dehumanised constantly. I heard that a fan was bragging about sexually assaulting Tommy innit during a photo a few years back. Whether they were being honest is irrelevant because it shows what these types of fandoms will do to a non-problematic figure let alone a problematic one. People do justify harassment and doxxing/hacking Joe with "he's a bad person" so I can imagine yelling abuse and unwanted physical contact could be a worry if he were to perform in person.
TL;DR for his safety, if it is him I hope he's with at least one other member on that stage
@@project_letters it can really vary on who he’d be up there with too. with the andrew and ross allegations from earlier this year, and if either of them are with joe, there’s a chance that he’ll still be harassed. i don’t really see him being up there with andrew after he actually posted something about the joc tho
Knowing the fandom, it's a a very vocal minority on twitter that care about Ross, Andrew and Bora's controversy. That's evident by the fact that Bora and Andrew literally opened for juke box and no one batted an eye about Zionism, racism, antisemitism or NFTs. There's so many people who are openly obsessed with those members on toxic apps like Tiktok and no one cares. It's only Joe people don't allow you to like which is in some ways warranted in other ways unnecessary. People won't be worrying about Andrew and his NFTs or Zionism (idk where that came from but I've heard that accusation) because they don't do it on social media.
As for the fact that Andrew and Joe have a strained relationship, that's a very good point. It came to mind when Matthew brought specific attention to those three after playing a song written by Andrew and sung by Joe and Rob. It leads me to believe they have something to do with either sonic lunch, the side project or October 22nd. Issue is Joe recently publicly hadn't treated those two the best ("noted friend" and apparently he wasn't nice about Rob on a phone call but idk). However, Matthew said not everything is as it seems when writing music which could just be him saying "Zubin didn't sing this" but also saying they spoke in private or something and sorted stuff which I pray it is. I completely understand why they all didn't have a public fight and also didn't update us but it's been a cliff hanger over whether everyone's still friends, hopefully this means they are. Idk I'm waffling but you get it

I would like Joe to release another song/album because most of Joe's songs slap and i need to use a boost of hope that Joe still wants to make music.. but yeah. If tally hall do get back together, maybe my friends will have some more space to breathe around me without hearing the words "tally" or "hall" come out of my mouth.
Ngl having have seen the andrew and joe sonic lunch videos, I'm a bit confused on why everyone is so excited about that. With sonic lunch we're most likely just going to get another sad video of them having to try and sing group songs alone.
It's because Matthew keeps hyping us up with rally hall and a reunion. There's a possibility that they aren't alone this time or something (the mention of Andrew, Rob and Joe being prevalent). He said "bring your coloured ties" which I know I'd plural because he's speaking to more than one person but also could imply multiple colours? Idk it might be sad but even then we have October to look forward to and in general that buzz of a mystery like this will get us all hyped!

While it can be any of them, I personally want to see Joe. Idk if its possible, but all the members seem to have an equal chance to show up (so more than others). At this point Idrc who shows up, because Ill be grateful just to see one of them live. I know everyone has different hopes, but some will be right and some will be wrong. Either way, we should all be happy for whoever shows up! ❤ (Thanks for mentioning me!)

If Joe’s making the side project, I really hope that one dream I had where he did an apology song featuring vocals from some of the people involved comes true, because that would finally resolve the one thing that makes me feel bad about being a Tally Hall fan.
Interesting but at the same time that could appear non-genuine? Like making music to apologise has a bad history (looking at Colleen Ballinger). If it can be pulled off I guess but idk. I agree that I want closure and to see Joe change and grow

He's famously not a singer or a songwriter, Andrew is. That's where the "just a drummer" thing came from, the members were joking that he could be killed off as he can only drum (he can also play keyboard but he's not the best in the world at it). Andrew wrote good day, TWWAY, Fate of the stars, you, two wuv and sung lead vocals or at least sang a part of multiple of those. Ross sang on 2 Tally Hall songs and one was a joke song not in English and the other was backing vocals (I'm not counting hot rod Duncan or him singing everyday or those Beatles songs live since he wrote neither and only fully sang lead vocals on everyday which was done specifically because he doesn't sing) and wrote none since those Tally Hall songs were written by Joe. That's why he most likely wouldn't. He's an excellent drummer but he definitely didn't play the same role as Andrew did in the band
