I've been looking for videos everywhere of T's and CT's making peace and I've finally found it omg, this is such W content!! Also where do you get these custom voices from them??
Happy new year to you as well! I use Tacotron 2 for the voices. They're old models I trained on the original voice lines from the game files like 2 years ago. There are probably better quality options out nowadays, but what I have already works quite well. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! :)
Thank you for your answer! Does Tacotron2 require a good GPU as much as like Stable Diffusion or any other txt2img AI model? Also what Houdini edition (like Free/Indie/etc.) are you using? It’s a little expensive, but free version has some quality and probably watermark limitations, I assume.
@@ficcialfaint Don't think it requires anything too crazy, but I use Google Colab, both for training and synthesis. I don't use SD at all so I can't speak for that. As for Houdini, I've had the Indie version for some time now. Yeah, $250 per year is a lot of money in itself, but for what you get, it's a very good price. The free version has very few limitations compared to most other software. The most apparent one is lack of Alembic support for exporting geometry, which can be fine for a lot of people, but after a while I really needed that to export simulations for rendering in Blender. It can export VDB without any restrictions though. But you can't use it commercially. That's basically it, as far as I'm aware. I used it for a while to learn the basics before deciding to buy a license.

Happy New Years 🎉! What did you use to make the voice lines sound as in CS?
