I managed to get into the Hose Tunnel and got some cracking photos before they blocked it off, it was great to walk through it, there's a whole load of old chicken coops at the far end!!! It's such a shame they sealed it off, apparently the farmer got totally fed up with the likes of us wandering around🤣😂!!!! Nice to see that minature railway at Scalford. The track bed from the station into Melton is a nice wander if you have the time.
The platforms,turntable pit and the goods shed still survive at Harby and Stathern station.We used to play around the station site in the mid 1980s and quite often had to hide from the farmer who stored all sorts of gunk there.

A few good tunnels on this line well worth visiting too.
