Wow lots of understeer in this car during early 2012. They replaced the steering rack mid-season and improved the setup a lot throughout the season. Nice job Mark Slade. But 0:47-0:52 reminded me of a young McLaren Kimi!
I wouldn't say "lots of understeer". There was a bit in the second sector and back then the first sector was not as quickly taken as nowadays because of the less downforce the cars were making. Overall the E20 Lotus was still able to pull out great race results right from the begining of the season. Good memory about the steering rack though.
