For those of you who are asking, I think what the person wished for was to gain a Pokémon ability, because he says “I didn’t know this was a Pokémon ability”.
It would be cool to have a Pokémon move at your arsenal
Think of the possibilities. Confusion hurts a person and has a chance to make them confused. Ember literally torches your opponent and leaves a long lasting burn. Flamethrower is the same but stronger and without the status effect. Bulk up makes you stronger and more resilient. Just do that a bunch of times until you're able to beat the strongest MMA fighter.
Maybe it’s a non-existent ability, because as you’ve already said, The person says “I didn’t know this was a Pokémon ability” so they DID wish for a Pokémon ability, just not one that they new of and not specifically one that wouldn’t also affect them.

I just had a thought:
What if Ash from the Dream theory is really Red in the timeline where Ash woke up and ventured into the darker world of Pokémon? That would explain why he’s silent, mysterious, why nobody knows him, and why he’s seen as such a prevalent character.

The most famous pokemon creepypastas were lost silver, hypno’s lullaby and lavender town syndrome because they all had a creepy way of the story like when lost silver had the unknowns saying what he wanted to say and the pokemon trainer slowly losing his body parts while looking sad and eventually the sprite was left as a head some people also theorize that gold the pokemon trainer in lost silver is actually the one who fought red on mount silver some things also back this up when gold is seen fighting red in a part of the creepypasta and the person playing only had a celebi with 1 HP and only a perish song so he had no other options and just keot doing perish song until both pokemon died

Here's A creepypasta I have created called: Help Us
A Pokemon player was playing A Pokemon nuzloke, as they went in a battle using a Charizard, of course, it got knocked out, it was the trainers favorite pokemon, so, he did an unknown ritual to bring Charizard back needing every Pokemon elemental, so, he obtained every single pokemon, that he needed, and did the ritual, but, it went wrong, the Pokemon became stuck together, and when they Ann were stuck together, the charizard head came out saying: Help Us.

I got onto this topic through fnf and I think it's honestly really interesting, although I may note that "where's dad" is actually similar the creepypasta Pokemon Glitchy Red and the full story of Glitchy Red is VERY interesting
I'm gonna say it now, even before FnF I've seen Pokémon creepypastas and loved them (and was also scared of them because I was just a dumb kid lmao) but FnF revived my love for Pokemon creepypastas and I'm even thinking of something similar to FnF's Mario Mix, but instead of Mario it's Pokémon, with loads of creepypastas being included.
fun fact: hypno is NOT evil in the games. there was only one incident where a hypno kidnapped a child. where as all the other phsycic types that never get mentioned, do it so often it's practically a chore for them.
But the Fire Red Pokédex entry did said it once took a child it hypnotized…. And now I feel the deepest regret of raising my Hypno to level 64, enough to actually One shot Agatha’s team in my first play through
I don’t think Hypno killed people…I’m pretty sure he just kidnapped them, put them to sleep, and feeds on their dreams
while watching a bunch of these videos, i wrote a creepypasta of my own called "im still hungry"

One day a girl named Ivy was playing pokemon scarlet. she decided to have a evening picknick with her pokemon. she gave her favorite pokemon, arcanine, a sandwich. The arcanine said; "im still hungry". Shocked that her arcanine can speak, Ivy gave it a few berries. The arcanine once again, said; '' Im still hungry''. Ivy replied; im sorry, i dont have anymore food. i'll have to buy some later". The arcanine replied;
''Then i guess i have no choice,'' The arcanine ran torwards Ivy and ripped her arm off and ate it. Ivy stopped playing the game and decided to take a walk to take her mind off things. While she was walking, she heard her arcanines voice in the forest. "hello ivy, im still hungry"

needs a few touch ups, like grammar and longetivty and details, but yeah the concept is good.
Not to be "that guy," but the supposed Haunter in Pokémon Black where trainers are being turned into tombstones, it's just a Ghost. Not a Haunter.
The reason rubys trainer (Red) hasnt died, is because his arms and legs were numbed and thawed out so they werent bleeding.
I watched all 4 original parts and was so excited for this one
I changed Ash from being Comatose to Delia being Comatose..i made it kind of creepier...
I literally searched up “Delia Pokémon” and found out Delia is ash’s Mum

nightmare is not a glitch... to get it to do something you have to use an attack like sleep powder, hypnosis, or sing.
