  • We lived for almost a year and a half in Guangzhou, and here is a list of what you must see if it seems that you have already seen almost everything :)
[✓] Museums: Guangdong Museum (modern building in the very center), Museum of the Western Han Dynasty Mausoleum of the Nanyue King (currently under renovation, but should open soon), Guangzhou Museum of Art (large building, you need at least a couple hours), Guangdong Museum of Revolutionary History, where almost nothing is duplicated in English, but it's worth it.
[✓] Palaces: Zhenhai Tower (Five Storied Pagoda), this is one of the symbols of the city!
[✓] Religious temples: Temple of the Six Banyan Trees (Liurong Temple), it is a pity that the original building has not survived to this day, Huaisheng Mosque, the mosque in which the minaret is a former lighthouse 0_o
[✓] Modern architecture: Canton Tower, where you can climb to the very top, International Finance Center, there is a hotel upstairs so feel free to go and admire the panorama of the city, CTF Finance Center (completely office building), CITIC Plaza (the first skyscraper in the city) and Nanfang Building with interesting architecture.
And also the local zoo, botanical garden and of course Chimelong Paradise

I am glad to everyone in other social networks.
