Finishing Basement #28: How to make a double door out of 2 single doors! (Cheap & Easy!)

- Welcome back to our basement rebuild! In this video we show how we made a beautiful craftsman style double door for our basement out of 2 individual, pre-hung doors. It was over $500 for a double door and we did not want to spend that. All we did was purchase 2 pre-hung doors (the cheapest ones at the hardware store) and did some easy carpentry skills to put them together. Then we cut pieces of cheap plywood to put on the front of the door to make it look like a craftsman style door. It turned out PERFECT and it cost less than half of the double doors from the store. +@heatherm4555 Hey! Everything in that area was recessed into the ceiling so it was easy to pretty soon we will be finishing the rest of the basement which will involve going around that stuff so stay tuned:)
