Tiana turned the villain into a frog to teach him a lesson through she's a Kitchen magic witch, Belle is a witch that does research or keeper of the Spell Library, and Rapunzel is a traveling witch who loves to paint!
I'd love to see Snow White, Jasmine, and Ariel as witches next!
I like that. Tiana’s usually using her powers to help aspiring cooks get it right. Facilier gets to see the ugly side of her magic because he was acting a fool.
Kind of ironic that Rapunzel's the witch here, when Gothel, her "mother", was a witch in canon

That could actually work as a backstory. Gothel could have actually taken a slightly more genuine motherly role and taught Rapunzel magick. Then, she could have told her that people will try to hunt her down for being a witch, and she should just stay away from them.
@@hithere911 Either that or when Gothel bit the dust, her magick bomeranged & got stuck onto Rapunzel. Kind of like a variation of the "I'm rubber, you're glue" shtick...

These witches are unlike others. Sooo pretty! Just amazing how you can draw and color your creations to such a high level. Definitely want to see more in this new princess witch series.

I love how different they all were and how each had their own theme. I think it would be cool if you drew Merida as a witch. Also, seeing Rapunzel I had a feeling her hair would be her broom or would even be here wand. That's really cool! My favorite part of these kinds of videos is guessing how you drew and incorporated the different things about each character in the designs.
I was picturing the hair arranged into a sigil or spell circle of some sort, which would have been a very different image

I absolutely love all of them! The designs of the dresses, the colors, how each one are so unique, and the combo of witch and princess of my fav because I love witches! 😍 pretty please make a 2nd part of this video.
For Belle, after the beast has been turned back and all the jazz, i imagine belle kind of missing having the talking furniture and what not around. There was something so whimsical about it, and for someone who is an avid reader and lives a bit of magic, she cant get enough. So she talks with the enchantress and kind of learns magic from her to be able to have those things again. Using her love of reading, she studies and learns quickly. Adam (the beast) just shakes his head and smiles in happy defeat as his wife walks around the castle bringing things to life.
I love Tiana design, so unique and pretty, especially her Lilly pad dress. Love how the villain frog is purple not green. I would love to see Mulan, Raya, and Sleeping Beauty.

Amazing. Belle is a Ravenclaw. Her powers involve knowledge. She can scan any knowledge within any book and remember (and apply) that knowledge. Rapunzel would be in Pukwudgie, a house from the North American Magic School. This house specializes in Healers. Tiana would be a rare mixture of houses: Hufflepuff and Slitherin (Hufflerin). She is ambitious and loyal. Her powers are related to potion making (also food magic).
I used to watch you occasionally back in the day and as soon as I heard your voice I got so excited. Happy to see you pop up again in my feed. Time to binge!

Amazing as always, and with my top favorite Disney princesses no less. I love how you incorporated the various flowers/plants into their witch outfits, and the colors are absolutely gorgeous. Rapunzel's might be my favorite design-wise, between her flowing purple and gold outfit, use of her hair as a magic broom and having her trusty frying pan. Having Pascal as her familiar is a cute touch. I also love how organized Belle is with her many books, and that Tiana is giving some payback to Dr. Frog-cilier. Maybe the Enchantress and Mama Odie helped the latter two with their witch powers.
I love it when you reimaging characters as other things since you brilliantly translate their defining characteristics to their new forms, allowing us to recognize them.
These Princess Witches are both beautiful and awesome! Tiana was my favorite, but I loved all three of them.
All three of these were just beautiful, they give me very enchanted type of witch. Rapunzel was my favorite. I would love to see Pocahontas, Merida and snow white if you decide to do a second series. Love your work Mei.

Rapunzel who really is a witch because of her magical healing and de-aging powers. In addition to healing she could be a Kitchen Witch like Mei Yu said or she could be a Cosmic Witch because of her fascination with the stars and the cycles.

I've seen a bunch of images of Princesses as Sailor Scouts, but a vast majority of them were done by different artists, so there was, almost, no consistency between them. Some of the artists were people whose work is amazing and I would love to collect, like J. Scott Campbell and many others. That being said, I'd love to see your take on the concept.

Pocahontas, Mulan and Merida would be really fun witches, I think. Especially with the color schemes and possibilities of incorporating the sidekick characters or villains.

Tiana is the perfect choice for this concept!! Other great options would be Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Ariel (sea witch), Pocahontas (native healer), Jasmine (fortune teller?), Merida, and Elsa 😊

Rapunzel is just cooking around preparing some Potions and healing medicine, when she finds out that Eugene is in trouble and has to fly away to save him! Then she says "okay hair, broom style now!" Then all the sudden, her hair hardens and she flies off with her mascot to save Eugine from the wicked witch of the west! 😆
Rapunzel looks like she's opening witch's tavern, belle is that one witch that probably reads and owns a thousands grimoires and spellbooks, while tiana looks like a community witch that people go for help

Every challenge you set out to do Mei Yu yields exquisite artwork. This one is no different in this regard. While typically when someone mentions a witch they immediately think of the stereotypical evil witch there are good witches too. Some that immediately come to mind are the Good Witch of the North and South from the Wizard of Oz,Wendy the Good Little Witch Girl from the Casper the Friendly Ghost cartoon,and Sabrina the Teenage Witch from the cartoon and live action show.
As for these three Disney princesses as witches,I found them all practically equal. Only one that stood out above the other two was Rapunzel. She stood out because of your idea to turn her long hair into a make shift broom for her. I have a suggestion for you Mei Yu for Halloween themed challenges you're gearing up for next month. Just to keep the scary and creepy factor of your Disney princesses as horror monsters balanced you might consider this idea.
A reverse version of females in horror games as Disney Princesses. You could say they're taking a break from the horrors they're from and going as Disney Princesses to a Halloween party. Four I'd suggest from my franchise would be Jill Valentine,Rebecca Chambers,Claire Redfield,and Ada Wong. Specifically Jill Valentine from the OG Resident Evil not the Remastered Remake,Rebecca Chambers from the OG Resident Evil not Resident Evil 0,Claire Redfield from OG Resident Evil 2 not Resident Evil 2 Remake,and Ada Wong from OG Resident Evil 2 not Resident Evil Remake. You can of course do other females from other horror games if these prove to be a hit. I could suggest others from other horror games if you so desire as I assume it's not a genre you frequent as often as I do. Splendid artwork as always Mei Yu.

I think it would be a good idea to do a Disney Princesses (Elsa, Mulan, Ariel...) as Amphibia or Gravity Falls characters.
They all look so pretty! My personal fave has to be Belle. I can see her enchanting objects around the castle to help daily tasks! I would love to see Esmeralda, Megara, and Elsa as witches (even though the first two aren't official Disney princesses).
