You have to go to a player that is not real and is a ai player these are usually people at the bottom of the depth chart you can change there attributes and name and appearance and there position if you can change there name and all this stuff it is a ai player hope this helped
so what you have to do is edit rosters, and go find a player that you can change the name of, that means they're an auto generated player, that's how you change player ratings.
