Adam's face the moment he realizes what Isaac had done while everyone is laughing and smiling and voting is LEGIT the best part of this game... well, apart from "ARE YOU EVIL?! ARE YOU EVIL?!?!"
Oh man, this could've been a film script: At the end when Isaac was about to be executed and everyone was laughing and patting themselves on the back, believing they had made the right choice, a fraction after it's too late Adam realises it doesn't make sense that Isaac plays so well only to slip up at the end and it comes to him: it's a trap, cleverly set by Isaac. That was so fun to watch!

@@sackbeardthepirate8096 More like Dumb Luck and Jon were a tag team. Carley happening to bluff the exact role Ben lied to Jon about was pretty damn lucky. I don’t blame him for getting worked.
Probably the luckiest was poisoning Jon on Night One. That's a shot in the dark. 4 of the 6 Good roles wouldn't have been affected at all by poison on the first day. Isaac was 1-in-3 to hit someone who mattered, and 1-in-6 to hit Jon which completely nullified his role. Carley's bluff wasn't lucky at all. She had already told Isaac to bluff Recluse. That left her with Empath or Investigator. Investigator is a terrible bluff for Evil because it's a Night One role, meaning everyone will want to nominate the Investigator as a sacrificial kill to gain information. She made the only bluff that was available to her, which the storytellers knew and therefore supported when they gave Jon his poisoned information.

On my second watch of this whole series right now, and Adam realizing the truth just barely too late is still one of my favourite moments of all time. This is honestly the best series I’ve seen in so long on any platform - suspense and humour done perfectly by likeable people. Thanks again to everyone.
I keep coming back to this episode, I find it so satisfying to watch. What a performance by Carley! As soon as lockdown eases I'm going to hunt around some board game clubs to find some people to play this with! I've got friends who will play card game/simple games but it's hard to find the right audience for this. Great content as always, looking forward to next months!
Honestly, I don't think the evil team was that lucky. They played the good guys one against each other really well, especially Jon who has been Carley's alibi for the whole game. Full points from me. Very well played. And might I add that Carley has the sweetest evil smile? 1:54:41 Just as Adam pieced it all together... Chef's kiss.
I think it was simply skewed. Ben said that it's so super easy to make things easier for the good team, and there wasn't once an opportunity to help them during this game.
I’m new to this but I feel like the good team was completely screwed over by the evil team’s luck. They were lucky enough to get the 1/5 chance to poison the only investigative role in the first night, but the person playing that role in question didn’t know that the “random” clue they’d get would favour the evil team. This just sets up an impenetrable defence for Carley, more so when the other investigative role that can check Carley can produce flawed results fundamentally. Maybe I haven’t watched more episodes yet but I feel like the storyteller has so much influence in the presence of a drunk/poisoner/mayor/others that they basically decide the outcome of the game unknowingly.
It started with my love of quizzlemania then boardgame club has become a favourite of my partners and mine every friday and now we get extra blood on the clock tower. This is fast becoming our favourite channel. More of this wide group of friends playing please, playing anything at all. This week you have spoilt us :)
OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY EDIT: I don't know what it is about this game in particular that's so enthralling. I enjoy all the board game playthrough, but there's something about the atmosphere & intrigue that's more palpable & intense. There's a real sense of impending doom as each day ends & time starts to run out for the good players. Also, whoever edits these videos deserves all the love: it can't be easy editing multiple room meetings like this & keeping the pace leisurely at the beginning & more & more frantic towards the end. Looking forward to monthly Clocktower mysteries! SPOILERS As an aside, I feel a bit petty in being a bit disappointed that Evil triumphed in this particular episode. In Game I Luke was so kind & nice that it would've just been great to see him win: in Game II Adam's play was so bold & diabolical I was rooting for Jon to win. In this game, the sheer bad luck of Jon talking to Carley first, & Carley just happening to choose the correct fake role, was so instrumental to Evil's success that it almost seems unfair in retrospect. Not to take anything away from Carley & Isaac, though - the Good players could have ended this 45 minutes earlier, so kudos to the Imp & Poisoner lasting long enough to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat!
I'm so SO happy to see that this is becoming a regular thing. Watching this group play Clocktower is absolutely captivating and I wish I could play with any of them. As far as the game goes itself, the Baron - 3 Outsider Bluff could have worked. Sell Laurie as the drunk, Sully as the Butler, and Isaac as the Recluse. Carley is the fake empath confirmed by Jon's Washer Woman. Evil could have then killed Sully and tried to pitch the idea that Brooke was the minion and that Adam was the demon, because all of the info that he was "confirming" was stuff that was already publicly said up to that point. The Empath bluff would have stayed 1 and they could argue that the Storyteller of course would only give a 1 in this case, because a 2 (off the Recluse) would have been too obvious of a lie. If other players tried to argue why would the Demon kill Sully and not anyone else, well Sully was pretty much 100% believed to be a good player at that point. After all, why would he have openly volunteered to be executed day 1 if he was the Demon. The final vote in the video only had 3 potential world views: the truth of Isaac (Poisoner) and Carley (Demon), the inverse of Isaac (Demon) and Carley (Poisoner), or Isaac (Demon) and Brooke (Poisoner). Those would have stayed, except leaving Adam on the block would have added the world view of Adam (Demon), Brooke (Baron). Just something to take more pressure off of Carley.
So so happy you guys are doing this. I've been clamoring for this to be monthly feature. Keep up the wonderful work - you guys are doing an amazing job with this channel.

Seems like whichever side has Isaac wins lol, Also daaaamn Carley was smug af in those last two rounds, I just started laughing my butt off when she suddenly stuck her tongue out when things bent in her favor
Isaac plays THE HELL out of this game, EVERY TIME. Bravo.
He has so many brilliant deductions. It’s incredible.
Jon delivered this for the evil team 😂😂
Every other game of this he's started his first assumption with 'unless I'm drunk or poisoned', and the one time this was pertinent he breezed past it. Great game. So many differing variations
pretty much nailed it tbh
This is honestly the best series I’ve seen in so long on any platform - suspense and humour done perfectly by likeable people.
Thanks again to everyone.
Every game of Blood on the Clocktower is like its own TV miniseries and I'm so excited to follow the monthly uploads.
Thank you for posting all these and keeping daddy Bens reasoning. It is very helpful for us storytellers looking to improve.
Holy shit that final play by the evil team was genius, this series is absolutely glorious and I can't wait for more.
Brooke and Sully "are you evil" just brilliant
Tom narrating is just brilliant! I miss him now that there are no CBW episodes.
It started with my love of quizzlemania then boardgame club has become a favourite of my partners and mine every friday and now we get extra blood on the clock tower. This is fast becoming our favourite channel. More of this wide group of friends playing please, playing anything at all. This week you have spoilt us :)
I am so excited that this is a monthly series.. adam I love you more for bringing this to us on a monthly bases.
Incredible!!!
Brooke had it! Love that Adam figured out issacs play just a hair too late
I'm sad also that Adam didn't change his light to blue and spend ten minutes walking through a fog machine to get to his chair.
I am very happy this is now a monthly series
OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY
EDIT: I don't know what it is about this game in particular that's so enthralling.
SPOILERS
As an aside, I feel a bit petty in being a bit disappointed that Evil triumphed in this particular episode.
Poor Brooke... Towards the end, she just has this "These idiots!" look on her face.
I felt so bad for Brooke, well played evil team.
Adam - "We want reliable information"
Also Adam - Talking to the poisoner
Gold
For all of those things to just line up like that is why I love this game and find these people really entertaining
This is such a great show--please keep playing this game. You are all delightful to watch.
I really wish the game never comes out to print, I can continue watching you guys play forever, you guys are amazingly hilarious.
They answered my prayers for more! BILLARD BOYS FOREVER!!
So glad the imp finally got a win before you finished trouble brewing
Carley is my new favorite
I love jon and sully. I desperately need a podcast hosted by them and Adam. Hopefully the data gods would agree that it would do good numbers.
So so happy you guys are doing this. I've been clamoring for this to be monthly feature. Keep up the wonderful work - you guys are doing an amazing job with this channel.
I cannot explain just how happy I am that this is going to be a monthly series. Going to go and rewatch the first two now to celebrate.
I love the channel. I know that it seems unfair to people but that's a part of playing social deductive games with friends. You have an understanding of your friends' ticks and signs. You will use your past experience and knowledge of said person in the game. You can consider it "meta" or a con on the pros and cons list for social deductive games. What's important is that everyone is having fun. Keep it up Adam and Issac, I personally love your rivalry
AAAAH YOU'VE HEARD MY SOUL CRAVING FOR MOREEE! I really wanted to see more BOTC plays by your bunch of interesting individuals. I don't have friends to play these XD so yeah, let me grab some popcorn
I just started to watch this and I need to say... THANK YOU for posting this! I really needed this right now! And I'm soooooooo look forward to future sessions using the other scenarios.
Sully and his antics are the absolute best thing about the BotC series with NRB…
Undertaker Adam bluffing as Ravenkeeper is a smart bluff. It makes total sense and is probably a standard bluff for experienced players, but I didn’t think about it
I just discovered your channel a week ago and have watched quite a few videos. The BotC playthroughs are amazing! The gameplay is wonderful and will be an excellent way to introduce new players. The editing is so well done--to give the insight into all the whispers or private chats really makes it entertaining. I'm looking forward to seeing the players get more experienced, and with other characters. Really well done.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this series it has really made me want to join a club purely to play this game
Thank you no rolls barred
Congratulations Carley and Isaac and Tom you were born to be a game master
This was absolutely hilarious. Thank you for making these monthly!
Love looking at my RUclips subscriptions and I spot a No Rolls Barred video before I get the notification for it
I think this is the first time ever I gave a youtube-clip a thumbs-up before even watching it. Thank you guys so much for making this into a monthly series! You're a very fun bunch, so I'm stoked to see you play this again. Great thumbnail, too, btw!
Good guys managing to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. 😂
We can always trust Sully to reveal who he is to everyone, Blair will be killed first night and Jon will nearly have a nervous breakdown every time.
Keep up the good work Adam and co.
Carley just smashed it. Very well played. Great video guys
Spoiler
Adam realizing that Isaac was being so incredibly obvious "I'm the demon" as the votes were being counted was like watching the end of the Usual Suspects when Agent Kujan realized he let Soze just walk out of the station. Brilliant!
Hotdamn! Monthly series! it's all i ever wanted!
