- Sonic Heroes allows you to play 4 different teams with one of them being called Team Dark. They are the hard mode of the game and it is clear to see why it is called hard mode.

The only reason you say team dark is bad because you suck at playing the game correctly instead of attacking the armored E hammers you get rid of the helmet then stay out of its attack range 2nd when you start final fortress don’t move the control stick ever 3rd final laser cannon just hold the accelerate button you got faster if you hold it I’ve played heroes for years knowing the strengths and weakness

The physics are so wonky in Heroes that I always used Flight formation for any of the rail sections

You lazy players took the longer way instead and were guaranteed a game over using a fly character during the final fortress laser instead just hold the accelerate button while grinding not only do you land in the last platform safely you easily never get touched by the final laser cannon

Imagine usin' any character BESIDES the flight characters on the rails in this game
Just switch immediately to flight if you fly off the rail. Grinding rails as flight character is ass.
The reason Rouge didn’t just info dump Shadow about his past is probably because she wasn’t sure about whether or not Shadow was THE Shadow from SA2. She also doubted that all of that would actually matter to him because as he does in this game, Shadow no longer doubts himself or questions his past, he accepts himself being the ultimate life form no matter what people like Eggman may tell him.
How COULD YOU!?
I actually found team dark to be easier than team sonic, team dark only took me to tries on the last level, my least favorite was team chaotics.

Rouge didn't tell Shadow because at the end, she saw the clones. She already knew about the clones per sonic adventure two, and was just pretending to be gagged for the drama of it all.
She didn't tell him because she didn't know how to tell him.
You're supposed to save the team blast for the helmet foe. Also, if you spam it with flight character's "b-attack", you'll charge up your meter very fast

Just learn how to rail grind in heroes to never fall like that man. If you don't know, rail crouching in heroes is just like rail crouching in sa2. When you go downwards, you will speed up, if you go upwards, you will slow down. Heroes has a bit worse rail switching and you shouldn't lean on the rails, that's about it. So, if you will crouch on that part, you will fly over the gap and escape the eggman's eye laser

The problem is the jank with team dark because one minute you’ll try switch a rail but you’ll hit an enemy that’s on a rail and you’ll just get thrown on the rail heading the opposite direction 💀

"why didn't rouge tell shadow who he was?" I used to think it was bc the real shadow actually died in sa2 and this shadow was just an android... Until sega completely retconned that entirely and now idk wut to think.
I felt this in my soul… Team Dark still my fav tho. Team Rose is worst for me.

Disagree. I think this is the best team. Shadow didn't land on the rail because you touched the stick already as the beginning wasn't automated after the the camera change. It is like White Jungle where you can die already when moving the stick before landing at the beginning. The Armored Egg Hammers are the most annoying enemies in the game but saving Team Blast for these enemies will save time (you can also do a tornado jump or rocket accel to remove their helmets earlier). And the grinding, like some said, you needed to hold the B button instead of mashing it. You should only mash when you are out of speed and then hold the button when you reach the speed cap and grind down the rail. Rouge not telling Shadow who he is might be confusing but it actually makes sense because she can get help to find treasure when they are going for Eggman.

No lie, I don't remember too well, but I do feel like I had little trouble with any of the teams. I know there were issues, but overall I enjoyed all of Sonic Heroes. Just didn't fully complete the game.
