#TheZoneOfInterest #A24 - Кино
Seeing that they filmed the movie with a bunch of different cameras and different angles in the house is such genius filmmaking.
It gives me goosebumps how genius Jonathan Glazer is. One of the greatest masters of cinema.
If it doesn't win Best Sound Oscar it'll be ridiculous.
I agree, the sound design was incredible
Agreed
Oppenheimer
I think Oppenheimer will win in this category but i vote for The Zone of Interest
@@chka5324 It's about best sound. Not soundtrack
Everyone that took part crafting this film is simply a genius. I haven’t felt this way about a movie since I first saw 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Agree. It’s almost like watching a film Stanley Kubrick would have directed.
If you haven’t already, check out Under the Skin
So true. I felt a similar way when I first saw Crocodile Dundee
Bot😂
This movie means so much to me, because my family was on the other side of the garden wall. They survived thank god but horrible memories!
😢😢😢❤❤
It’s wonderful that you remember their stories to keep history alive, thank you so much
Just hope no transgeneraion trauma 🙏❤️
@@ninak8102 I’m extremely grateful that I never had to endure the trauma that my family went through, and as a fact , I’m a stronger person because of it! My family is amazing! And I am so proud of them!
@@carobinsonrobinson3109 Huge respect to you and your family ❤️
Absolutely BRILLIANT!
*This is the way to approach these themes show them as any other human, that their choices aren't that farfetched from what you could do if you get brainwashed by those who are near you and you trust*
Reminds me of a great film called Good. Based on a similar premise. It had a very enlightening way of showing how ordinary Germans were caught up in it all and how they went along with it. The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas was also in this vein.
I think boy in the striped pajamas is contrived and trite by comparison (and also embarrassing) and also plays with the very theme this film seeks to delete - IE using the holocaust as a device for dramatic entertainment. I read even Spielberg was criticised for playing for dramatic tension during the gas chamber scenes - and in retrospect perhaps this is warranted. There’s no decoration in Zone - it delivers relentless truth and accuracy in a previously unmatched way
yeah that level of indoctrination. like a genocidal, nationalistic, cult.
@@jonnowocky8179You're totaly right, the boy in the stripped pyjama isn't a historical movie, it's dramatic movie in a historical setting.
For the shower scene in Schindler's List, I think Spielberg's goal was to make the viewers as scared as the victims were, but it fails because it only works the first time.
A better, and maybe more realist idea would have been if some of the women were separated from the others, you know put in the other group.
Watching the movie the second time I felt there wasn't enough consequence, they were too lucky
0:17 one of the most disturbing scene in history of cinema
I felt chills up my spine and my stomach twisting in a knot. That was horrifying.
Then imagine how 10x horrible was in Asian theatre whmith the Japanese
I agree one of the most haunting close up in all of film, no emotion or anything cold as can be.
@@user-ri5yh6vp5s?
This movie is genius. I dont know why it reminded me of A hidden life, maybe zone of interest is about evil and greed, the other sacifice and love.
There's a story that reminded me of this film and it's a village that was a few miles from a camp and when it was liberated, the soldier's made each person take a tour to see what they were living next to
That is band of brothers
Such amazing idea for a film so powerful
I saw it yesterday. Stunned
I saw it 5 days ago
Can’t stop thinking about it and desperate to see it again
@@dovestone_ ok bot
I really need to see it, I missed it in cinema, I need the bluray!
This is what art should be
It is a really good idea for a movie
Was watching the Oscars this evening and short clips of this film were shown when it was mentioned. Asked my auntie what this film was about and when she told me, I was overcome with horror and my eyes began to water. The fact of these people building a home on the other side of the Auschwitz camp wall is quite sick.
Boy i wish i could actually watch the movie
I'm glad movies like these are still being made. Never Again! The online and offline atrocities against the Jewish people in our world today is alarming and horrifying. People need to know history in order to never repeat it.
yet happening right now in Gaza... how ironic...
The fact that you added the word "Jewish" to your sentence showcase you have no idea what the movie is about, buddy.
It's not atrocities against Jewish people, it's just atrocities against people. Wake up.
Where can i watch it now? Any links? Or any streaming platform? Please help
In theaters
iirc hbo max is the exclusive home of A24 releases for streaming (like once it wraps up in theaters it will come to Max) for the forseeable future
In the U.K. I watched it at a local independent cinema

0:35 what’s the piece of music here?
This movie isn't showed in my country. Does anyone know a platform to watch it?
It's in theaters only right now. No one is streaming it as far as I can see.
@@santadog9 Thank you.
Filmed big brother style
If Cookie Monster can bake a batch of cookies every hour using a single oven...
Wait so did they use the real house ?
according to Wikipedia, no, they could not use the real house because it is now a private residence. they had to reconstruct the house using an older house that was not occupied.
This movie is very analogus to today. Except, the horror taking place beyond everybody's garden wall now is the legalised mass murder of defenceless unborn children.
You better believe it.
I know, they really got to ban masturbation 😔
I won't be watching this, the boy in the striped pyjamas was bad enough
never again
yet happening right now in Gaza... how ironic...
Most of Israeli society and its supporters around the world are living in the zone of interest. Most of us right now are living in the zone of interest with respect to carbon.
this is actually reminds me of the gaza (concentration camp) and the kibutzs and the raves and the festivals the zionists make just near the walls surrounding gaza , the same game but different players.
It's happening now live every day Israelis living their best life while gaza and west bank are open air Auschwitz
Yeah…just like the Jews at Auschwitz, Gazans/Hamas are able to infiltrate Israel and perform the same or worse atrocities than what they are supposedly getting. Not even a close comparison my guy.
Amen
what a load of bs.
antisemites think their lies become truth if they just repeat them over and over. it's so lame.
Why?@@cinnamon8884
Russia 2024
Exactly.
Incredibly boring movie.
Bcz it tells the story what is happening now
I understand what they are trying to do with this film, but there's no way he nor his wife knew exactly what he was doing to innocent people. I'm sure it'll be a thought provoking film.
That’s the whole point. It’s about how even normal people have such a capacity for evil that even if they knew deep down what was happening they were able to walk around their home and raise their family and be good parents and go about their lives. He could know Jews are being executed only 100 feet away but at the same time he could have dinner with his family and truly want the best for his children and raise them right and love them and be a great dad and husband.
You've completely misunderstood the point of the film. They DID know, yet carried on as if nothing terrible was happening.
The "music" almost made me leave the cinema.
Everyone is sucking this film off, is it really that good? 🤣
Yes
It sure is. It is very well done and I hope Jonathan Glazer wins best director. This is a holocaust movie like no other because it shows how evil people can be while there is chaos going on right next to them.
It's good but it's not for people who want to be thrilled because the movie moves slowly and doesn't have much in the way of plot. It's more observational.
@@FilmSureelist97is it like a modern Schindler’s List kinda thing? or is that a bad comparison
@@anthonymartensen3164that’s fine, i love slow burn films 🤷♂️
Shame they won the BAFTA and then squandered the opportunity to call for a ceasefire and instead spoke about ALL the innocents dying. Israelis included. They don't seem to know what their own film is about.

just another old war history movie :(
