The closer you got to the waters edge, I was 🫣 my eyes. But you are like a surgeon with that machine grabber. You knew the assignment😊. Thank u for sharing. And I had to subscribe.
As a home owner I would've built the lake wall before building my home. Nice work, that's a nice clean up job. Love that tilt rotator, sure cuts down on having to reposition your machine so much.
Great video man! Nice and tidy work! If you don’t mind me asking how much was this job bid at, for your scope of work? I’m in Hawaii I’m just curious 👍🏽
I simply love your videos, but with that said if you want just a little advice and a common courtesy, whatever you’re pulling up some heavy stuff always make sure your blade is down gives you more stability but besides that excellent work❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Wow, crazy big house, I know it crazy expensive today, but why not install a seawall, the block and poured concrete looks great though, what a nice lake and a nice setup they got there, well done again sir, thanks for sharing the projects.
what are the blocks behind the wall for? are they cemented on top of each other or just dry stacked? I like your small excavator would that do that job if it had a tilt rotator? nice project.
Cool video. Really interesting job that required that swivel attachment. Came out real nice. But, I think a dump truck and deck over trailer may be in your future, lol.
@@CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC How/when did you and your dad get into operating equipment and doing this kind of work?? You guys work like you’ve been in it a long time. Great content!
My dad is an engineer as well, but has been doing handy work his whole life. So this was sort of the next natural step, the hurdle was just justifying the equipment costs, which I certainly have done in the work I have been able to get!
Great project and video. But shouldn't footers be at least 4" under the water level? Ore else water curens can wash away everything under the footing. Maybe different form county to county. Nice property.
I have a similar wall I need redone. I have questions…. How do you know that base is not just going to sink into the lakebed?? And any chance you can share what the homeowner paid for this wall?
Yes it’s probably not enough for not the wall to move or sink with time. For not to sink this would require vertical drilling / pouring, according to me. Or Steel poles force inserted in soil. Expensive project.
New to your channel, really have enjoyed them. Your a very skilled equipment operator that does great work. My only complaint with this channel is the background music.....man it sucks!! 😂😂
If the owners can afford that home in NH then surely the could afford a steel sea wall to be put in before your work portion. Would have made more sense. Other than that, Great Work.
I hear your maya culpa. That you didn't design this and you just did as told, etc. But quite frankly you (or some other excavator) may be back when the homeowner needs to get it fixed. When that wall fills with water then freezes...well, I don't need to say it, do I? I did sheeting, suring, underpinning and pile driving professionally. It looks real nice but.....
Who's the idiot that built the house before the seawall. The ends of the seawall should have been returned back into the bank similar to the way the stair well is. No rip rap at the base all that gravel is going out into the lake. Never built a sea wall without filter fabric behind it. Water freezes level it doesn't get stuck behind the fabric. Get rid of your engineer they have no clue what they're doing.
The music you have playing at 27 minutes is PERFECT for this kind of work!! Loved your video!

Awesome project that came out great! That house is insane.
Awesome project guys, you use everything to its full potential, great vid as always.
Thanks! That grapple has been awesome, use it nearly every job.

Really great video here! The mix of live shots, timelapses and music overlays is fantastic... I look forward to watching more of your content!
Great job and video. Been fun watching you grow and add new equipment .
Thanks!
@@CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC I like your work and I love your videos very cool but if you wanna have more stability, make sure your blades always down
Nice looking job! What a game changer the Tilt/Rotator is on the excavator.
Great work, love your timelapses and choice of music :=)
Nice you’re adding new toys!
Must be doing well in the business
Good on you 👍👍👍
Yep! Pretty much have just been re-investing everything I earn back into equipment.
What an awesome attachment. I’d sure like to be able to justify one, maybe somedays. As always, enjoy the videos

Yeah, that combo would be sweet. Just really expensive and tough to justify as I am still part time.
@@CarlsonSonLandscapingLLCwhat do you do full time ?

great video
are u adding any new peices to the fleet this year?
Thanks, not sure yet. Will have to see what deals I may come across!
Why not leave the lake wall in place to protect the shoreline?
The BGM out of the YT library is killing the vibe, the time lapses and me 🙉😣😳😵🤓
The attachment between your bucket and your arm how much did that cost ballpark figures?
If you are referring to the SteelWrist Tilt Rotator, It was around ~40k with install, two buckets and a ripper.
And that’s why I don’t have one
6/19/24... A+ on your $$ that Steel Wrist. HeadBlom YT channel (Sweeden) has competitor TiltRotator Engcon@@CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC
Does anyone know what a project like this would cost in 2024 , I bet it’s more than what you make in a year or two or three
You don't mention were you are but I have a idea your my nabor in the north possibly Winnipesaukee
What’s the weight of the SteelWrist?
it's a x06 model which is around 350 pounds
👍

How do you know it was a new build and not a remodel? In case you missed the first minute of the video there was an existing wall too..
