Life is always about perservering and learning from our mistakes. Really agree about starting a hobby for fulfilment. I put so much weight as a student on simply being a student ( I go to quite an academic college ) that I felt like I’d lost a bit of myself.
A lesson in life I’ve learned is that everyone has a purpose. But nobody’s purpose is to just fulfill theirs. It’s to grow, learn and evolve.

I have been trying to limit my phone screen time this month and here are my tips for anyone that wants them that worked for me for 2 weeks before I started giving up lol
1. It can be very hard to completely eliminate phone screen time so I gave myself a goal of less than 1 hour per day so I am still able to message people for safety, set alarms, check calendars, timetables and lists etc.
2. Draw up a graph like in a bullet journal to track your screen time. I included a line at the 1 hour mark to visualise my goal better
3. I included a list on that page of stuff to do instead of going on my phone if I start getting tempted like reading, stretching, piano (a personal favourite lately), and drawing
This worked for 2 weeks, but despite being well above my one hour goal the past week, I feel more mindful about being in my phone than I was before and I’m proud of myself for that
this was sooo helpful...i am usually organized at the start of the year and everything falls apart towards the middle
