Why does the screen's blackness not match Icom's advertisements for the radio? All of Icom's brochures show a deep black screen, yet your video shows the screen as being more gray than black.
What is it like to view the Icom screen in sunlight? My FT-3 washes out. Volume on the Yaesu is disappointing. Cheap Baofengs are 3X louder. I do enjoy Yaesu’s APRS. If the Icom had APRS I’d buy one today.

It has DPRS. Some say it is better others say it is not. I guess it is preference.
